“Following the release of Seven Psalms, we want to make a collaborative film to accompany the audio; a kind of spiritual portrait of the world at this time.

An ambitious idea with a small budget, we’re looking for phone footage to piece together – short clips (no more than 2 minutes, preferably less) that mean something to you.

We want: video selfie portraits, miracles of nature and natural disaster, the sacred and profane. It could be footage of the person you love, video you shot at a protest, or something ordinary that you find beautiful.

Some themes could be – mercy, anger, splendour, grief, solitude, mercy, yearning, revelation, glory.

Honestly, I don’t know how I will survive watching a film like that. The heartbreak of the last 2 years just in my own life has been unbearable enough (and this is not counting the 60 years’ worth that came immediately prior to the past two)…

Anyway, I know it will be a great little film. Remember those fan vidoes he uploaded to the YouTube channel BadSeedsTeeVee? They were unbeilevable. Just so good.

Since I posted here yesterday, we had 3 thunderstorms and I had 3 full-blown panic attacks. I am utterly exhausted. I want to try to rest before I head back into work. (But the good news is that my tree is still standing. I am trying to remind myself that it was not a thundestorm that sent an enormous portion of my tree flying into my neighbor’s house, it was a tornado. Big difference. So I’m working on separating the two things in my brain. And not get triggered by thunderstorms — of which we have many all summer long in this part of the world.)
