I’m guessing you all saw the rally last night. Luckily, I was able to watch it in its entirety with one of my favorite clients, who is a huge Trump supporter. We had a great time watching it.
If you somehow missed it, here’s the replay:
President Trump’s Celebratory Victory Rally (3 hrs):
*************
Today will be very interesting, indeed.
While I’m looking forward to the Inauguration itself, I am extremely interested in those 200 Executive Orders.
I get the feeling I’m going to be celebrating tonight. We shall see.
Meanwhile…
I have a ton of work to do with Peitor this morning on the TV series, before the Inauguration begins. So I gotta scoot.
And remember, gang, after today, this blog goes back to just being a blog. For me, today signifies that the war is over. Even if a whole lot of work remains for the New Administration to tackle, I’m guessing it will all be carried in every other media outlet imaginable.
So, thanks for visiting all these years, wherever you’ve been in the world!
I love you guys.
I leave you with this joyful, delightful exit! If you’ve never seen this, you must watch!! Okay. Enjoy!!!!!
I don’t imagine you’re going to let my remarks, or other’s like mine rain on your parade (which you probably get few of… not a reactionary “hater” or with TDS, but an informed and assertive defender of, and desiring to improve democracy).
You have just TOO MUCH emotionally and socially invested in a particular reading of Trump… parts of which I probably agree with, though not with positive expectations. He MAY not be a total disaster, but he’s certainly not going to be improving American democracy or probably even the economy, the lives of “working Americans”, etc.
You probably won’t be open to this extent, but if so, please read some Timothy Snyder (“On Tryanny”) or Ruth ben Ghiat on the ways of authoritarians, etc.
