Yes, it’s 20 degrees Fahrenheit out there and beginning to snow!! And, yes, Kon Tiki of the Great Outdoors refuses to stay inside for more than an hour at a time…

Anyway.
My trip to my dad’s went very, very well. When I arrived, my stepsister was there to greet me. My dad had asked her to stop by, in order to assure me that she had about 6 years’ worth of food supplies on her farm, and also tons of seeds to continue growing her own food, along with plenty of guns, and gasoline, and solar panels, and a generator, and everything else imaginable. And that if she needed to get to my dad and for some reason wouldn’t be allowed to drive, she would either walk or ride her horse, and that she’s only a few miles away….
So. I guess I don’t have to worry that my dad will go hungry anytime soon. Wow.
I thought that was really nice of her to drop what she was doing and come over and tell me that yesterday.
Oh, and also–
5 (FIVE!!) military vehicles on the freeway yesterday!! Which is a lot for around here.
