  2. My heart goes out to you, Marilyn.

    I lost my mom two weeks ago, and the end was very much the same for her–stable for a long time, then a sudden plunge downhill and no coming back from that.

    I know your dad was glad you were with him at the end. You can cherish that time with him forever. I know you did your very best for him.

    Also want you to know I never miss your blog–you introduced me to Phil and to many people you mention daily, and I do my best to keep up with them all! Really enjoy both the info and your excellent writing!

      1. Thank you, Marilyn! The company I work for gave me a beautiful memorial gift–wind chimes with a wooden circlet mentioning my mom, with her dates of birth and death. I just moved and hung it up on my new porch–now my mom, who sang beautifully all her life, can sing to me every day!
