Wow, the re-writes on the opening scenes of the play are coming fast & furious here this morning, so I’m getting to this blog post with a bit of a crazy brain.

However, our play goes into pre-production meetings at Soulpepper Theatre in Toronto, beginning at 11 AM this morning!!!

So, yay!!

Okay, gang. As far as the Q stuff goes, and the war — it all seems to be about the money now. The RV, precious metals. And a little bit of drips and drops about tribunals and executions.

That’s why it’s imperative to be holding the actual money, even if you cannot invest in much silver.

Happy Sunday, gang.

Wow.

It is just so beautiful here today –again. It’s hard to believe that we’re supposed to go back down to freezing temperatures in a few days, but I guess that’s just April for you. The cruellest month…

Not much to report here. It feels so strange – suddenly having so much free room in my brain to start focusing on my writing again. It’s like going up into an attic and discovering a trunk full of personal papers written by one of your ancestors, because you can’t remember writing all this stuff yourself. It feels so long ago.

3 years.

I’m also getting slowly back to keeping a journal — a thing that fell by the wayside when I started to keep online journals back in the late 90s (eventually it was called “blogging”). Up until then, though, I wrote daily in a journal. I have 47 of them — hardbound journals — just documenting my life & mind through the early 1980s up to the late 1990s.

That’s a lot of documenting.

My journals were notorious. Everyone knew I kept them. “You better not be writing about this in your journal,” people would warn me.

“Too late,” I’d assure them. “But I didn’t use your full name. Just your initial.”

Anyway. A lot of amazing stuff happened last Saturday, when I took my “day trip.” And I want to make sure everything that revolves around it gets put into a journal. I don’t want to forget this stuff. Ever.

Okay. So.

This was heartbreaking. In the old days (40 years ago, when I was young), the LGBT community was the most supportive community you could imagine. It truly was. Now the loudest majority of it is mostly militant and toxic and “programmed.” These stories just broke my heart. Not just the stories themselves, but the fact that these people — human beings, I might add — have nowhere to go, accept to places like tiktok, to get support if they want to de-transition.

I have always supported James O’Keefe and his amazing efforts to get the truth into the light, but I was not sure what he thought he could accomplish by going after Dylan Mulvaney in the Four Seasons Hotel the other day in Los Angeles.

If you’re a follower of Jesus of Nazareth, you likely know that up until around 350 AD, when Pope Julius I declared December 25th to be Christ’s birthday, Jesus’ followers celebrated his birthday in the Spring.

Well, if you watched the David Wray video series that James Tabor posted to his YouTube channel recently (I re-posted all 4 of those videos here), especially the last one – David Wray: Understanding Earliest Christian Astrological Iconography – you likely already know this: that ancient followers of Jesus, both Jewish & Christian, celebrated Jesus’ birthday on April 17th (born in 6 BCE).

So that means Jesus has a birthday coming up on Monday!! He is going to be something like 2,035 years old… Anyway. I just love this stuff, gang.

If you’re a long-time reader of this blog, you likely know that I have 2 degrees– one in Audio Engineering (analogue) and one in Evangelical Christian Ministry.

And while I love certain traditions of organized Christianity, I am more interested in where History and Theology are at crossroads when it comes to Jesus. I never stop studying. (I am currently taking a lecture course on Genesis (which is fantastic); a course on Biblical Israel (another eye-opener); retaking a course on the Old Testament (taught by the incredible Professor Amy-Jill Levine); and, yesterday, I couldn’t resist starting yet another course by Bart Ehrman, this one on How Jesus Became God.)

Anyway, I was adopted into a Conservative Jewish family when I was born and so I also have an extensive knowledge of Judaism and the Holy Scriptures (called the “Old Testament” by non-Jews). And I began learning Biblical Hebrew when I was 5 years old.

Long story short!! I found this photo online yesterday. Technically, the building still exists but it’s been completely overhauled and is no longer a synagogue. But in the 1960s, in Cleveland, this is the synagogue where I studied Hebrew 3 times a week, as a wee bonny Jewish lass. Not only did it look exactly like this back then, but it almost always snows in Cleveland so I thought it was amusing that the only photo I could find of the original synagogue, featured snow!

And just down the road from the synagogue, was this incredible supermarket!!! (It’s still there, but they remodeled it to look absolutely boring many years ago…) However, when I was a little girl in Cleveland in the 1960s, this grocery store looked exactly like this!! Isn’t that just the best architecture???

One nice thing about working way less…

I can drive to town and do the shopping whenever I feel like it!

It is such a gorgeous day here today!! And now that all the chores are done, I have the rest of the day & evening to get the rewrites done.

If you missed Phil’s live last night, it was very interesting. Although he is once again warning us that social media sites are going to be blacked out for a while — I hate to see that happen to Instagram, since it is the only thing I do every day that simply brings me joy. I’ve met a lot of really cool people, mostly writers, from all over the world through Instagram.

Regarding Phil’s quizzes last night — I got two answers wrong. I think, though, that the question about JFK’s assassination was sort of a trick question! I immediately answered “CIA” without looking at all the possible answers — the truth is that he didn’t die that day — he lived to be very old and died from (B) “Natural Causes.”

And then I got the answer wrong to the question about how large the bounty was for JFK Jr’s death. I way overestimated it!! I guess I value his life a lot…

But I got everything else right.

So according to Phil, the RV here in America will happen in May or June, and after that… tribunals.

It feels like the war is basically over, gang. It really does.

Regarding Phil’s emotional comments on executions…

I have never been emotionally comfortable supporting the idea of public executions. Although I agree with Phil on this one — what was done to the children goes beyond any crimes we can even imagine. (And then add to that — the bioweapon vaxes, the fake pandemic, HAARP creating environmental disasters, financial enslavement, human trafficking. The list goes on. Millions and millions of people have died, all things considered.)

Yet, after listening to Leo Tolstoy’s What I Believe last year, it gets harder and harder for my conscience to be “okay” with executions. Tolstoy goes into great detail about what Jesus really says regarding tribunals and any sort of “judgments” and executions — he unequivocally regarded these things as sins. And of course, Jesus himself was put before a “religious” tribunal (the Sanhedrin) and then executed.

it is emotionally difficult. But I don’t see how it can be any other way.

This is the section from the Book of Matthew (5:39-45) that Tolstoy goes into at great length. He uses the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic Bibles as his sources. His insights are almost unbearably thought-provoking. In KJV English translation:

Funny How Everything Still Turns On A Dime…

Even though pay phones basically no longer exist, and even though a phone call costing a dime is from a really, really long time ago and no longer can anyone “drop a dime” on you (sadly, though, I’m old enough to remember those days!!)…

We still have that phrase, that everything can turn on a dime.

A case in point — not only do I now have to work one god-awful day shift a week at the new fulltime “night” job, but now they have also cut everyone’s shifts back and it is no longer anything close to “fulltime.”

Just when I was getting used to finally having enough money to pay my bills.

So there we go.

And on we go…

And now that the Q stuff takes almost no time at all out of my day (see yesterday’s post), this really does mean I have time, now, to write.

And also to work on my yard!

So these are good things, assuming I can keep my brain from freaking out.

What worries me most is that everyone I come into contact with or speak to, etc., is adjusting to the “new normal” regardless of how horrible it is. They say stuff, like: “Wow, the world’s gone crazy.” And then they just shrug it off. Have we jumped the shark? It’s really starting to feel that way:

It’s put up or shut up time. The next few weeks will be very telling.
