Tomorrow, I officially start my new part-time job (for twice the money).

At the end of the week, my first retirement check arrives. (!!)

I have officially gone down to 2 days a week at the health food store– they have already hired someone new, so as soon as she is trained, I’ll be leaving the store after 2 intense, scam-demic years of helping people fight Big Pharma and save their own lives.

I will treasure my experiences there but I am so ready to move on.

And I am, of course, already hard at work with Sandra on her play that will be workshopped in Toronto later this fall. (Yes, fall starts this week…)

Everything is different, gang. All across the board.

Here is something I can attest to — in the small town where I work (5,000 people) there is a very intense teenage girl that lives across the street from the store, and who always dresses like some sort of Satanic-looking black cat. She is young enough to still live at home with her mom. (She’s white, btw. It’s her outfit that’s black.) Whenever she comes into the store, she practically refuses to speak.
