In case you didn’t know, I was born in the Franklin County home for unwed mothers, back in 1960. But I was conceived in a tiny little town called Greenfield, Ohio.
Greenfield’s claim to fame is that it was the birthplace of the late Country & Western singer, Johnny Paycheck. My (biological) dad and his brothers grew up with Johnny (aka Donny Lytle).
My uncle was also a singer/musician in Nashville, and he sang on a lot of Johnny Paycheck’s records — he also sang backup for Tammy Wynette and for George Jones.
So with that little back story —
