You know it’s a great day when these gorgeous neighbors agree to drive me to town and back to get the groceries!!

Sadly, I only need about three things, but one of those things is dry cat food, so I absolutely have to go back to town today. Yes. Drive 50 miles for 3 things… Such is life in the Hinterlands.

Then, this afternoon, I’m working with Val from Brooklyn again. To try to get that Zazzle store up & running so that you can finally get all those coffee mugs you’ve been dreaming about!!!

Or perhaps your dad’s birthday is coming up? I know my dad’s is! So I’m gonna get him one of these!!

Yes! Who could forget the Big Book of Hot Women’s Erotica that I edited for the Venus Book-of-the-Month Club almost 20 years ago??!!

(I actually loved that book. Some of those writers I edited back then were just incredible. “The Dairy Kings” by Iris N. Schwartz, and “The Orange Grove” by Kiini Ibura Salaam both spring to mind! What lush and playful and wonderful imagery.) ( But I never understood why the publishers insisted on calling it the “big book” when it was actually a rather slender volume….)

Anyway.

No way on Earth am I buying that apron for my dad….

MarilynsRoomBooks.com is partially up and running. At least, the homepage is up! I’m going to add more pages that include links to books that are out of print, or in French, etc.

I’m trying to get as much done as I can before Sandra and I have to tackle Act Two. It is already mid-July. Two months from today, the show goes into rehearsals in Toronto. 8 weeks. 60 days. Basically, right around the corner…
