Wow, gang. It is finally done.
The final, final, FINAL draft of the play. I finally finished it today and sent it back over to Sandra.
And, naturally, the heat around here has been off-the-charts, so I’m really wiped out but I couldn’t be happier.
I don’t have anything really to post beyond that, except that Phil is doing a Rapid Fire Q & A tonight, starting at 8PM Eastern, and those are really fun and usually very informative.
As always, though, check his channel later to confirm.

This was in Charlie Ward’s newsletter earlier today, and I found it interesting:
“Russian newspaper TASS reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Russia’s military operation is targeted not at the Ukrainian populace, but against what he termed “Banderite monsters.” Speaking at a meeting of Russia’s Victory organizing committee, Putin stressed the imperative to unearth and present evidence to the international community to clarify the objectives of Russia’s actions and the nature of its adversaries. He underscored that their conflict is not with the Ukrainian citizens but with these “monsters” and their affiliates, referencing the historical victims of the Banderites, including Jews who were massacred.
Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky, during the discussion, highlighted that during World War II, known as the Great Patriotic War in Russia, the Nazi genocide resulted in the death of approximately 13.5 million Soviet civilians. This number includes 1.5 million Jews who were exterminated by Nazi collaborators in Ukraine.
Responding to these points, Putin affirmed that comprehensive records exist that document these atrocities. These archives contain specific orders, action reports, and details about the individuals responsible for these crimes.”

And James Tabor sent out news today about this cool archeological find!!
“A sensational find in the Judean Desert: a cache of four 1,900-year-old, excellently preserved Roman swords and a shafted weapon were discovered in a crevice in a cave in the ‘En Gedi Nature Reserve. It appears that the weapons were hidden by the Judean rebels, after they were seized from the Roman army as booty. “Finding a single sword is rare—so four? It’s a dream! We rubbed our eyes to believe it,” say the researchers…”

Here’s the new single, “Angry,” from the Rolling Stones. I like the song a lot, and most of the video… I love all of the old footage of the Stones in concert. Anyway, here it is!
