Just a quick post

My dad almost died yesterday. We have definitely turned a big corner, not in a happy way, and now things are very different. They’ve moved in a hospital bed for him and now hospice nurses are there in 12-hour shifts.

Needless to say, it is complicated to maintain my usual Christmas spirit, but thankfully, having houseguests helps a lot. We were in town for many hours yesterday shopping for the Christmas groceries.

The only news I found of interest was from Real Raw News yesterday:

JAG Arrests Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger for Treason

Link is here.

That’s it for now, gang.

Have a terrific Tuesday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!

Moving Ever Onward!

First — from Saturday, on Real Raw News:

JAG Convicts Katie Hobbs of Treason, Conspiracy to Commit Murder

The U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps on Wednesday convicted and sentenced to death former Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, finding her guilty of treason, defrauding the nation, and conspiracy to commit murder. […]

[…] Vice Admiral Darse E. Crandall explained to the panel that JAG had the video forensically analyzed by both military and independent experts, all of whom agreed that the footage, though grainy and soundless, was irrefutably Hobbs interacting with poll counters and handling ballots—illegal and unethical. […]

[…] He scheduled her execution for December 22.

And, to be honest, that’s all I found that was of interest for today.

In other news–

Today is Keith Richards’ 80th birthday!!!

And also his 40th wedding anniversary to Patti Hansen!!

From Keith’s Instagram page today:

Other than that —

I’m sort of in a sad mood today. I was not able to go see my dad yesterday. I was getting ready to leave the house and I called him, as I always do when I’m ready to get into my car and go.

He didn’t answer, so I texted him. He didn’t reply, so I called again…this went on for an hour and a half. and I was TOTALLY freaking out.

Meanwhile, my stepsister has a key and she went over and discovered that my dad was just deeply asleep, but still alive. So that news got me down off the ceiling. But by the time my dad woke up and called me, it was too late for me to make the trip down there.

*************

Today, I am heading into town with one of my houseguests so that he can go get lost among the grocery aisles and get whatever he needs for Christmas dinner, and I will peruse the dairy aisle and get everything I need for making the cheesecake.

And then drop in at the liquor store and see if there is any way on Earth I can afford a bottle of Courvoisier this year…. (I don’t really drink anymore but I am providing most of the spirits for my houseguests, since they are kind enough to cook the entire Christmas dinner. A few bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau 23, Courvoisier, and of course eggnog and espresso. And then it’s Bring Your Own Weed and Cigarettes, because I definitely don’t smoke but the rest of them do… and hopefully everyone will have a Merry Christmas.)

I’m trying to get back into the Christmas spirit, but for right now, I’m just still a little wiped out from yesterday morning.

Okay. That’s it!!

Enjoy Keith’s 80th birthday, wherever you are in the world!!

And just as a personal aside — THIS INTERVIEW changed my life when I was 11 years old. It truly did, gang. I was never the same after that. I find it sort of incredible that I was able to absorb all this stuff at the age of 11. Well, I was almost 12:

“[…] Certainly. Mayor Daley’s a good target. And there’s a million Mayor Daleys in America. Why have a go at one? Sure he’s cunt, you know, everyone knows he’s a cunt. But there’s a million hiding behind. Last time I was in L.A. I met the old lady that owns most of those head shops in the Strip, man. She’s got a little home in Beverly Hills, she’s rolling, you know. She’s made a packet, man, and she gets those little hippies to work in there. And it’s a front, man. It’s all a fucking front. There’s another Mayor Daley.

I mean, who knows where they are? How many times can you use those words – justice, freedom. It’s like margarine, man. You can package it and you can sell that too. In America they have a great talent for doing that.

And so, as I was saying, just because it’s on a record doesn’t mean that you have to take it for what it is. The cat could be lying, you know, at the end of the record, you know, maybe they cut the tape off and he said, “Oh, I’m sorry, I’m lying. You know, I’m just fooling you.” But they just happened to edit the tape there, you know. “I’m putting you on.”

Maybe Dylan said at the end of “Visions of Johanna” – oh, I don’t know, which is a very personal thing – but maybe he said it at the end of some of his earlier stuff: “But I don’t give a fuck.” at the end of “Blowin’ in the Wind” or “That’s up to you,” maybe said that.[…]

Anyway, thanks to Rolling Stone for having that incredible interview archived online.

Okay. Thanks for visiting!! I love you guys. See ya!!

Just one of the thousands of amazing rock & roll songs I found out about by being so in love with Keith for the last 51 years…. Enjoy.

Good stuff!

First– yesterday, Phil re-posted an item about a 20-car train derailment that took place in Pike County, Illinois.

If it’s the usual “optics,” it means they were rescuing trafficked children (?).

This accounts for Phil’s “locomotion” comm the other day.

And good news from Peitor Angell’s part of the world!

Peitor is my long-time friend, and business partner in the micro-short film production company, Abstract Absurdity Productions.

His life has been on hold for quite some time — first, his mom was very ill for a long time, and then dying, and then she passed away in June, and since then, he has been trying to tie-up all the bureaucratic insanity of his mom’s estate — in the US, in Italy, and in France. While also handling some of his own bureaucratic “working-artist” VISA stuff in London.

But he texted me very early this morning and said that by mid-January, he will be ready to get back to all of our Abstract Absurdity Productions endeavors!! Yay!!

Yay!!!

Loyal readers of this lofty blog no doubt recall that recently, Peitor also bought a lovely apartment in Nice, France, right on the Mediterranean, which is now the new home-base for Abstract Absurdity Productions.

His text this morning included his view from the terrace, while having his morning coffee:

The view from Peitor’s new home in the South of France this morning

It was uncanny!! How (dis)similar it was to my own view here in Crazeysburg, while I was having my own morning coffee in bed!!

But it really got me excited, gang. I texted back that I couldn’t wait to see that view, and that’s when he texted back that he’d be ready to get back to work in mid-January.

So it became real. And I can’t wait. I haven’t seen him since 2019, we haven’t seriously worked on Ab Ab Pro since 2021, and I’m eager to get back to France and have some actual FUN there, for a change.

This was in my YouTube feed this morning. Broke my heart again!! Such a great version of “Fairytale of New York”, and with Shane’s casket right there. I was sobbing, as usual.

Enjoy the splendor and the beauty of it, gang.

“Fairytale of New York” – Tribute to Shane MacGowan at Funeral, 2023

Wow, so! That was something!

I hope you listened to Phil’s live last night, gang.

I believe the entirety of the cat is out of the bag.

No way would anyone have let Phil go into all that detail about his CIA/NSA/Q background, if we weren’t looking at the end game!!

If you missed it, here is the replay (2 hrs):

I am still unclear about the SCOTUS comms.

It could also mean that Trump will be cleared of all (fake) charges since he is a sitting President, etc. (This was mentioned in Phil’s live last night).

So the SCOTUS comm could be about Trump, about rigged elections, or about the J6-ers — or maybe somehow, all 3? They would all affect Trump in a positive way.

And maybe Phil’s recent “locomotion” comm was not about a train derailment, but the complete derailment of the Deep State, like, today?

We shall see.

Meanwhile, just stay prepared, okay? Gas in tank, extra food for you and your family, including furry members, and cash on hand.

Good news underway from Gitmo–

From Real Raw News yesterday:

Katie Hobbs Military Tribunal, Day I

The United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps and Office of Military Commissions commenced its case against former Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs on Monday, having indicted her on charges of treason, defrauding the United States, and conspiracy to commit murder.[…]

[…] On or about August 22, 2022, the admiral explained, Hobbs conspired to have Kari Lake murdered so she could essentially run unopposed.

Admiral Crandall swore in JAG’s first witness, Rose Huerta, Hobbs’ campaign finance director, whom the military had apprehended on September 26, the day of Hobbs’ arrest. She had reportedly accepted a plea bargain to testify against her former employer. The admiral asked her if she recognized Hobbs as present in the courtroom.[…]”

Honestly, what good is having all these cats…

If not a single one of them will bring me more coffee??

I actually had to get out of bed, go all the way downstairs to the kitchen and get the refill myself.

And since I was already out of bed…. I came back upstairs and sat down at my desk.

Okay. So I’m here.

However, there is not really anything to post today. Phil couldn’t do his live last night, so it is once again re-scheduled. It should be tonight at 8PM eastern. As always, though, check his channel later to confirm.

**********

Okay, well it was brought to my attention that I’m expected to bake some sort of amazing dessert for Christmas dinner. (Two of the young men who will be here — see yesterday’s post — are professional cooks and they will actually be making Christmas dinner here, in its entirety. I’m providing eggnog, the wine, the espressos and the Courvoisier…)

Most people don’t remember me from the Dark Ages… but back then, I was an amazing baker. I really was. Cookies, cakes, pies, primarily.

My favorite cake — although the cake itself was just a white layer cake with white frosted sides and layers of green frosting leaves on top — was “The Beatles at Shea Stadium” cake!

The Beatles at Shea Stadium, NYC, August 15th 1966

I had found a set of vintage Beatles cake toppers–

Like this:

And I simply put them on top of the cake. It was my drummer/boyfriend’s 30th birthday. And his birthday was July 7th — the same as Ringo’s. So. Voilà!

Anyway. It was simple, but it was fun.

However, after I was married to Wayne for a few years and his diabetes started to get worse, I stopped baking entirely. Just to cut down on the temptation of all that sugar. And since then — almost 30 years ago — I stopped baking.

But in the old days… in the 1980s, my best friend, Valerie in Brooklyn, who was also an incredible baker, was the Pastry Chef at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC. And for a brief time, I was her assistant.

MoMA Sculpture Garden, circa 1980s

It turned out that I really didn’t like baking professionally — I found it tedious and not very creative. I had to bake the same things, day in, day out; over and over and over. And I preferred to try to flirt with Valerie and fool around with her in the giant walk-in fridge. (Wherein, she was heard saying, for the first time ever in the known history of the world: “Emmy, stop it! We have to work!!”) (We were also lovers, btw.) (And she called/calls me “Emmy” because, in the very early days, she simply called me “M” because everyone knows that “Marilyn” takes way too much time to pronounce, and then, of course, the diminutive of “M’ is “Emmy”…)

Anyway. Okay. So I didn’t last long as a professional Assistant Pastry Chef. But I did love to bake. But I haven’t done it now in decades, so I’m freaking out and I texted Valerie last night, and said: “Oh no! What should I bake??”

And she replied: “MoMA’s Cheesecake! I’ll send you the recipe!”

So that’s on my horizon for Christmas dinner. We’ll see how that goes!!

Meanwhile… I’m gonna scoot. If anything interesting happens, I will come back here later and post it.

Have a wonder-filled Wednesday, wherever you are in the world, gang!!!

Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!

The Distant Thunder Wasn’t Rumbling…

I’m guessing that you already know Phil could not do his livestream last night because Rumble was under attack over the J6 videos.

Rumble was down all over the place yesterday. Here in my area of Ohio, it was down all day and into the early evening.

Phil is planning to do his livestream tonight instead, at 9PM eastern time, if everything goes okay. Check his channel later to confirm. This will be an intel drop, if he finally gets to do it.

He also had another one of those “locomotion” videos in his car yesterday — watch it here — which seems to indicate another train derailment is coming, in perhaps 3 days? Somewhere in San Francisco? But he is happy, so I’m guessing it’s a psy-op, or optics, or both.

We’ll see.

*************

Here, in my corner of the world, things are going really nicely. For the first time in the 5 and 1/2 years that I’ve lived here, I’ll actually be having people here for Christmas dinner!! Not just my current houseguests, but also someone I work with at the train station, who can’t get home to Tennessee right now, so he’ll be out here in rustic Muskingum County, sleeping on my couch for Christmas!!

I’m super excited, actually. There will be four of us, and I am literally 40 years older then the other 3 who will be at the dinner table….luckily I’m super permissive!! You get to do pretty much anything I did when I was in my early twenties….

(Whoa!!)

Okay, gang, that’s it.

I’m going down to the kitchen to make a pot of soup!

Have a terrific Tuesday, wherever you are in the world!!

Music to make soup by!!!!

I love this song, gang!! I’ve posted it here before, but here it is again —

Don Williams with some classic Cajun Country, from 1977: “Louisiana Saturday Night.” Play it loud and enjoy!!!

And this!!!

Yes, I’ve posted this, too!! More than once. I love the Mavericks’ version of this old Bruce Springsteen song, “All That Heaven Will Allow.” 1993. Enjoy!!
