Okay, well, we really don’t have that much snow here; what we do have is a TON of wind. Blowing all those little snow flurries around. Making it feel that much colder, of course.

I’m guessing Kon Tiki of the Great Outdoors is curled up out in the barn, or in someone else’s barn, because she didn’t show up for breakfast this morning. But aside from always fretting a bit about her as temperatures plummet, everything else here is actually fine.

Last night’s listening-music, as we drove home in the torrential rain and utter darkness of the Hinterlands: “People Who Died”, by the Jim Carroll Band, from the awesome album, Catholic Boy, 1980.

HOWEVER— I found this incredible live version of the song on YouTube, of Jim singing with Lou Reed (and Robert Quine!!! on guitar), from 1984:

AND THEN!!!! Wow.
