Things at the train station continue to be “challenging”, gang. Today I have to head back in there and it takes a lot out of me right now.

I don’t want to just quit, because I am hoping things will get back “on track” (no pun intended, really). But the situation there is starting to seriously effect my income. So I guess we will just see. Meanwhile, though, every darn day now, when I go into work, I have to block that urge to get my Irish seriously up. Because when I lose my temper, it is unbelievably not pretty for anyone involved, myself included.

[For instance –Insert f- word one trillion times.]

Another thing that has me really upset right now is that my little stray cat, Blackie, who has visited me many times a day for years, has not shown up in over a week. And the last time he came by, something seemed to be really wrong with him. So I am just heartbroken, gang.

I keep hoping he will suddenly show up, but I am sort of preparing for the worst now, since it’s been over a week.

I’m also really incredibly angry that someone bought these buildings one block over from me (below) and is in the process of tearing them all down. None of us can fucking believe it. The old hotel, billiard hall, etc. Rather than try to restore them, they’ve given up and torn them down. (And we’re all suspicious about what will be going in instead. Probably just more mobile homes that no one can afford to buy.)

The last company that came by a few weeks back, has since become too busy to ever get back out to the Hinterlands and do the spring cleanup. This new company is actually IN the Hinterlands, so that part is promising…
