Not much “news” really. One thing that stands out to me, though — everyone is trying to be up in arms about Russian nuclear subs, etc., being off the coast of Florida…

Some are mentioning how close Florida is to Cuba and here comes another Cold War (fear porn, don’t fall for it)–

“🇷🇺🇨🇺🇺🇲 The Russian Ministry of Defense published a video of the arrival of the missile submarine cruiser Kazan and the frigate Admiral Gorshkov at the Cuban port of Havana.”

And Keyboard Operator brings up the connection between Cuba and Gitmo, which I find much more interesting. (Remember, gang — the “true” USA and Russia are Allies.)

The guys over at Jeff.pro have another big announcement. They’re getting ready to launch their own search engine. (And btw — their free LibreOffice, software that replaces Microsoft Word, is really great. I still use both, but LibreOffice is really, really good.)

I can’t wait until we have that new Internet. In the last 2 months, Spectrum has gone up $50, and I almost always have only one bar, sometimes two, and it is really slow. I’ve looked into other services around here and, aside from satellite service, which I don’t like, there is nothing cheaper out here. And all I have is Internet. I don’t even have cable tv, but the price now is just ludicrous.
