Happy Father’s Day Everybody!

And if you’re not a father, then happy Sunday, wherever you are in the world.

I have no “news” today. Instead, I just wanted to share a quick post for Father’s Day.

I’m not going to be able to get down to see my dad’s grave today. But I’m planning to just enjoy the day, regardless. It is really beautiful and peaceful here today and all I have on my plate is editing the new collection of short stories, A Man in Her Arms & Other Stories. So it should be a really nice day.

Here are just a few random photos I found of my dad this morning.

Below — my dad and my stepmom, Marie, came to visit us in 1994, after Wayne and I had been married for 1 year. Here we are having Sunday brunch, which, back then, was always bagels, lox & cream cheese!

Above — the final photo I have of my dad with my grandma up in Cleveland — she was, by far, my most favorite person on Earth. She died not long after this photo was taken. (1989)

My dad out west, in the mid-1990s. My stepmom, Marie, took the photo.

My dad and Marie and me and Wayne at the South Street Seaport in NYC, 1994.

**************

Since all the photos I have of my birth dad are scattered all over the place, I decided to just focus this post on my adoptive dad, who passed away 2 months ago.

If I can gather together the few photos I have of my birth dad, I might come back and do another post. We’ll see.

Okay, everyone. have a great day today, wherever you are .

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

Here it is again, gang. “Teach Your Children,” by CSN &Y. Enjoy.
