I’m Sitting this One Out!

I have debated whether or not to say what I really think about what happened, and what my reaction was when I saw the news on my phone last night at the train station.

But I have decided that I don’t want to go too far off-script of the public White Hat narrative on this one, gang, because they are trying to create a scenario that helps to wake people up.

I will, instead, point you to what Phil has said. Click here and scroll, if you haven’t already read what he posted last night. Start at “The shot heard round the world” Q-post.

In other news —

In this invigorating sunny, 90-degree weather, I’m trying to get the house clean and the laundry done before working with Sandra today. We have a ton of work to do, all at once, having to do with things going on at HBO Max, that I can’t post about yet. But it is sufficient to say, there is a ton of work to do in a very “squished” time frame. Thank you very much.

Today is one of those monumental anniversaries for me — sort of like June 14th 1975 being when I saw the Rolling Stones for the first time in Cleveland, when I was 14.

A month later, on July 14th 1975, I was committed to a mental hospital for many glorious months, after a suicide attempt.

This is that day when I can’t help but take stock of everything, you know? Would it have been better to have just left this realm back then, or has it been worth it, sticking around for 49 (and counting ) off-the-charts insane years?

I’m gonna withhold posting my opinion on that, because it is very, very long and involved. And it is sufficient to simply say, I’m still here.

Okay.

Enjoy your Sunday, wherever you are in the world!!

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

  1. Marilyn–I’ve hardly had anyone to share this with, but did you see the footage, last night, AFTER Trump fell down at the podium?

The SS jumped on top of him, and behind him, people were watching, looking around to see what happened.

And ONE GUY–in brown hat, black jacket and glasses–was also there, but watching Trump.

    Vincent Fusca, in full regalia.

Right behind Trump at THIS rally, as he’s been to so many PA and OH rallies in the past.

Is he JFK Jr or just a guy who dresses strangely?

    You decide!

And for my part, I’m very glad you’re still here.

  2. I think you’re taking the wise course to comment minimally as to the “real” reasons/causes and interpretation of the assassination attempt.

What I think you MIGHT say without either supporting or denying any particular analysis is something like this:

Yesterday’s highly disturbing event should call us all, regardless of political affiliation or opinion about others who differ, to denounce physical violence as an attempt to pursue ends or relieve inner fears and tensions.

To assist this goal, we should also lower the intensity of our words, especially in the tendency to characterize opponents as enemies and less than human or as evil.
