I find it so hard to believe, but out here in the Hinterlands, today is the day that the kids headed back to school!

I know I live in yesteryear, but I still can’t get used to kids having to go back to school in mid-August. In olden times, we never went back to school until early September.

I feel like these kids get robbed of over 2 weeks of summer vacation.

Anyway.

I’m heading into town today. It’s a gorgeous day, but chilly, which is all right with me.

And in addition to the spectacular news from last night — about Sandra being nominated for Outstanding Female in a Musical 2024, in Toronto, for our play, “The Guide to being Fabulous”– the other good news is that I’ve been awake now for 3 1/2 hours and so far, only ONE flea has adhered itself to me!!

Tomorrow the all-natural, essential oil “flea bombs” arrive and I am expecting great things from those!!
