Holiday Weekend Underway!

The final holiday of summer is upon us here in the States.

Today will be another intensely hot & sunny day, but after today, comes an incredible break in the weather. I am really looking forward to it!! (And I am basically looking forward to saying goodbye to the Summer of 2024. It was about 99.9% awful.)

Well, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds officially released Wild God at midnight. I had of course pre-ordered it so it was in my Amazon Prime stream this morning.

However, last night, at midnight UK time, they began releasing the songs online. So I listened to those last night…

I’m still waiting for all the lyric videos to be released, though, because, sadly, I can’t understand most of the lyrics to the songs on the album and that makes me nuts. I am all about the lyrics.

Luckily! I think that will happen at 1pm today!

Sadly, though … that is when Sandra and I begin working on the play!

Anyway.

I’m sure that at some point today, I will find out what the lyrics are. I hope.
