A really stunning day here, gang. Although it went down to 41 degrees Fahrenheit during the night. I actually have the furnace on already and it’s only September 8th.

However. It is still just a gorgeous day.

I plan on spending most of it at my desk, working on various projects. But I will definitely take a walk at some point and take in the splendid vistas!! (The village I live in is in a valley of the dolls foothills of the Appalachian mountains.)

On the Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds Wild God tour front (see yesterday’s post) — I still cannot get that pre-sale form to work!!! (Where they send you a code to use to buy the best seats before they go on sale to the public). I keep filling it out and I never ever ever get the verification code sent to my phone!!!! And I have emailed the admin a couple times. I’m hoping that maybe they just took the weekend off…

A great song that will finally be included in the upcoming re-release of Long After Dark by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. “Keeping me Alive,” 1982.

Allegedly, the Heartbreakers wanted this song on the original album but it got nixed by Jimmy Iovine, the producer. Tom Petty’s estate included it on the posthumous An American Treasure collection after Tom died. I love this song. It’s a great song to listen to while driving out on the backroads. Okay.
