It’s not expected to last long, but we FINALLY had rain here this morning!
We’ve been having a drought in this area of Ohio, and we hadn’t had any rain for almost 2 months. So the rain was beautiful to see.
We’re supposed to get rain throughout this coming week, too, but we’ll see. Often times, it just “evaporates” and no rain comes.

They will NOT globally distribute my new book, A Man in her Arms & Other Stories, or the eBook, because of “explicit content.” So this means my new book will not be available for sale on Amazon, or anywhere else in the world, except for Lulu.com.
Times have really, really changed, gang. Smashwords is struggling to keep erotic content available, but Smashwords has basically been taken over by Draft2Digital and they are staying sort of non-committal about erotic content — leaving current erotic titles parked at Smashwords for now. We’ll see how that unfolds as the year goes on.
It won’t keep me from writing, of course, it’s just that my newer works are increasingly less available for purchase out there in the world.
You should see what the back-end of my author’s account looks like over at Amazon-Kindle these days — I have about 7 erotic books in there and ALL of them say: BLOCKED. They will not let me sell them.

I got my brand new 2025 (!!) Honda Civic yesterday morning. It is now mine for the next 3 years. The lease was approved and the monthly payment will be sort of affordable!!

Dwight Yoakam, at long last, has a new album, Brighter Days, coming out November 15th!!
The single was released about 2 weeks ago, but I forgot to post it here. I love this song and I play it a lot when I’m driving. It’s a duet with Post Malone. “I Don’t Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang, Boom Boom)”.
I am a huge fan of Dwight Yoakam’s. I am, basically, a huge fan of hardcore hillbilly twang.
Back when I first met my biological father, my uncle (his brother) was a professional Country singer, based in Nashville. He had a few hits that made it onto Billboard’s Country music charts in the late 70s, early 80s. When my dad retired from the Navy, he worked as a roadie for my uncle’s band when they would go on tour.
I remember sitting at the kitchen table one morning, in my dad’s trailer home in Nevada, and Dwight Yoakam’s duet with Buck Owens, “Streets of Bakersfield,” came on the radio. My dad told me that, when my uncle’s band had played a show in LA, Dwight Yoakam was just starting out and was the opening act.
My dad and Dwight Yoakam shared a joint outside, after Dwight’s set. And my dad told me that Dwight was very cool and my dad knew he was going to be a huge success — and my dad said this to Dwight.
Well, when my dad told me this story, Dwight was a huge success and I totally adored Dwight. So I just loved that story!!
Okay. Anyway. here’s the new single, followed by Dwight’s duet with Buck Owens — now considered a classic. Enjoy!!
