All righty, gang!!

I booked my first trip back to NYC since pre-lockdowns!! And I’m pretty darn sure it is only the first of quite a few trips I’ll be making back there, in the vicinity of Off-Broadway.

However, this trip is specifically to see Sandra in the new play at Playwrights Horizons. Yay!

Yesterday, Wayne bought us tickets to see the play together, and I got a great deal on airfare (!!) and on a HOTEL ROOM (!!) off of Times Square.

No more driving (11 hours) to Sandra’s house in Rhinebeck and then taking the train to Manhattan. And no more strange Airbnb’s for me, gang. I’m back to flying and to using hotels — I really, really prefer them.

AND, my Q-following friend is taking me to and from the Columbus airport. AND one of my former co-workers from the train station will be checking in on the 723 million cats while I’m gone… so that’s all taken care of.

AND !!!!!!!

Remember how I posted here recently that Wayne was on the waitlist to get a ticket to see the upcoming Johnny Depp immersive art exhibit in NYC??

Well, Wayne got 2 tickets for us to see the exhibit together while I am there in NYC!!! Wow!!!

And one of the great perks about my part-time job (and one of the reasons I wanted it) — any time you request time-off, you GET IT.

So, off I go, gang!! (In mid-November.)

And on the topic of Johnny Depp — TONS, and I mean TONS, of photos and videos all over Instagram for the premiere of Modi – Three Days on the Wing of Madness, at the San Sebastian International Film Festival over the last few days.

Here is one photo I liked, because he is smiling. I believe he is arriving at his hotel but I don’t remember for sure. (He directed and produced the film.)

And, in terms of my trip to NYC — which happens only a handful of days AFTER Trump becomes our rightfully elected President again (and will hopefully have had PLENTY of time in that handful of days to Make NY Great Again…)

YES, I did get flight insurance and hotel room insurance, in the event that for some reason, everything in the country shuts down and my trip is cancelled. But I hope not.
