Getting Ready for the Feast!

If you live State-side, I hope you are having a great start to your Thanksgiving holiday.

Here, there is some happy news. I don’t have to work a double tomorrow!!!! My afternoon shift got cancelled. I will be home by 11:30am tomorrow (Thanksgiving) and I won’t have to be back out until mid-morning on Saturday.

I am really, really tired, gang. You just have no idea.

Okay. Not much to post about today — a lot of people have started their holiday, it seems.

I’m guessing that everyone already saw the mainstream news (alleged cease-fire underway; all of Trump’s plans underway; the left is still having a meltdown over everything, etc. etc.)

I am so ready for a little time to just collapse.

I am hoping that by next Thanksgiving, I will have a normal life again. And maybe even celebrate Thanksgiving! With other people!! For the first time in years!! It used to be my favorite holiday — back when my family was still alive and intact, and I cooked up a storm for everybody!!

I guess we’ll see. At the start of the New Year, I might start accepting applications for a new family…
