All righty, it looks like it was stress that knocked me under yesterday, because I seem to be reasonably fine today. (I say “reasonably” because I can’t remember the last time I felt 100%, totally, and completely fine. It was probably back in 2019 when I had stuff like friends, colleagues, family, a career, and a mere six cats…….)
Anyway.
Nothing from SCOTUS yet, although I saw a post in Phil’s private chat yesterday that indicated the Supreme Court would also be releasing opinions today. So we shall see.
Not much news at all today.
Mostly, I’m just trying to let go of any and all expectations about everything, gang, and just try to be in a Christmas-y frame of mind.
Nick Cave sent out an incredible Red Hand File this morning, gang! Just beautiful!! You should go read it in full, but in part he said:
“ I understand it must be painful to feel those “amazing times” are behind you, but they are not, there are many more to come. There will be further heartbreaks too, but hearts break stronger. We must not retreat from our feelings. We must confront them. Rehearse them. Get better at them… My advice? Get back out there. Live life to the fullest – and stay for the whole damn show. It’s amazing.”
Well, today’s random selection is very different! It comes from the final chapter in the book, titled A Chronology of Trouble. And it basically documents highlights (and lowlights) of Keith’s life from 1951 – 2008.
Our selection today states that in 1966, Keith separates from (long-time girlfriend) Linda Keith. Wherein Keith:
“Reportedly leaves phone messages for years that say, ‘Tell Linda to fuck off.’ ‘Ruby Tuesday’ is generally believed to be his swan song to Linda.”
Well, at least he got an incredibly great song out of that breakup!! So keep that in mind if you, too, have been leaving “fuck-off” messages to someone for years!!
*************
And that is it, gang.
Enjoy your Wednesday, wherever you are in the world!
Thanks for visiting.
I love you guys. See ya!

Of course, I leave you with this! And just FYI, if someone ever wrote a song like this about me, I’d happily put up with the “fuck-off” phone messages for years…
The Rolling Stones, “Ruby Tuesday.” 1966.
“Ruby Tuesday”
She would never say where she came from Yesterday don’t matter if it’s gone While the sun is bright Or in the darkest night No one knows She comes and goes
Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday Who could hang a name on you? When you change with every new day Still I’m gonna miss you
Don’t question why she needs to be so free She’ll tell you it’s the only way to be She just can’t be chained To a life where nothing’s gained And nothing’s lost At such a cost
Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday Who could hang a name on you? When you change with every new day Still I’m gonna miss you
“There’s no time to lose,” I heard her say “Catch your dreams before they slip away Dying all the time Lose your dreams And you will lose your mind Ain’t life unkind?”
Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday Who could hang a name on you? When you change with every new day Still I’m gonna miss you
Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday Who could hang a name on you? When you change with every new day Still I’m gonna miss you
I’m not sure if it’s just stress or not, but I actually called in sick today. A thing I never do. So this will be a brief post.

The US Supreme Court is set to make it’s final ruling for 2024 today. And we are all hoping that they will finally go public with their decision on the Brunson case.
That would be a fantastic Christmas gift for this country, wouldn’t it, gang? Expose the entire 2020 fraud. Finally.
But we’ll see. They haven’t done it so far, so we probably shouldn’t hold our breath…
“Florida has introduced a new bill aiming to ban chemtrails and weather modification activities that alter atmospheric conditions, including temperature, weather, or sunlight intensity. Spearheaded by Senator Ileana Garcia, the legislation comes amid claims that hurricanes Helene and Milton, which caused massive destruction in Florida, were deliberately manipulated”

What Would Keith Richards Do?
Our selection comes from Chapter Five: Daily Affirmations. And the topic today is LOVE.
When asked if making love and playing a concert are similar, Keith responded:
“One I do with the guitar and one I do without. But at least the guitar has a nice shape.”
Okay!! I have no clue how that counts as a daily affirmation, but maybe it’s speaking to you!! So just run with it, if it is.

And with that, I’m going back to bed for awhile, because I am not someone who tolerates being sick. We’ll see how this goes.

More Christmas-listening-music this morning!! (Yes, I really do listen to this stuff. And I sing along because I know every word. And I laugh.) Okay. Enjoy, gang.
Yes! The agency texted me around 7AM and asked me if I’d like to pick up a shift this afternoon!!
YES!!!! I said “no”!! And also…
Today was the first day of the “season” wherein I finally felt like listening to Christmas music!!! So I must finally be in the Christmas spirit around here (which is a good thing, because my house already looks like Santaland…)

Okay!
Curious indeed. Considering part of my hurried post from yesterday.
From Mike King’s Anti-NY Times newsletter last evening:
[…] The real heat of the Mossad-CIA proxy war on Syria — deceitfully dubbed “The Syrian Civil War” by Fake News — took place between 2011 and 2018. The decisive factors which finally crushed the subversive “moderate rebels” and ISIS were as follows: .
1. Trump’s 2017 cutoff of both direct and indirect CIA funding for the “moderate rebels” / ISIS
2. The active combat involvement of the forces of Russia, Iran and Hezbollah in support of Assad.
3. The tenacity and loyalty of Syrian military forces .
By 2023, even the butt-hurt Globalist Council on Foreign Relations had to admit that Assad was not going anywhere:
“Hopes for regime change have largely died out, peace talks have been fruitless, and some regional governments are reconsidering their opposition to engaging with Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad. The government has regained control of most of the country, and Assad’s hold on power seems secure.” . . And now, just like that, he’s gone as a result of what is being described by wall-to-wall accounts as a “lightning offensive?” […]

What Would Keith Richards Do?
Today’s random selection comes from Chapter Five: Daily Affirmations. And the topic is KINDNESS.
Keith advises:
“The truth is, the more you give, the stronger you are.”
Personally, I have found this to be absolutely true. Hopefully, you have come to the same conclusion.

In my own life…
I can’t even begin to tell you how incredible my life keeps getting — most of it, stemming from my work as a caregiver and my incredible clients.
A case in point — yesterday morning, I was with the really sweet 99-year-old blind lady. She had friends coming over to take her to church. I was helping her do her hair, put in her teeth, choose her perfume, get dressed. And she knows where everything is, and exactly what it looks like and feels like. When I was done dressing her, she looked so pretty. She knew exactly how she wanted to look. She even put on her own lipstick — and she knew what shade it was, and she applied it her herself. Expertly. I was just in awe of her because she is blind, gang.
And then when we were in the front room and she was sitting in her wheelchair, waiting on her friends (she only weighs 98 pounds, so she can’t be on her feet for very long and so she takes a wheelchair when she goes out). She was very excited about going to church, and she suddenly said to me: “I like you.”
And that was it, just like that. It melted my heart. It was just so out of nowhere and it felt so incredibly genuine.
But then, also, another patient who I really adore , confided in me over the weekend that she is ready to go.
She has physical challenges that you wouldn’t believe, gang. She said, “I know I’m blessed but I’m so tired of this. I feel guilty about saying this, but I’m ready to die.”
At times like that, my ministry training comes in very handy. And I know that what I’m doing every day now, as exhausting as it is, is actually really monumental. As I was leaving her the other night, that particular lady said, “You make me feel very encouraged. Thank you. It means so much to me.”
And then I get in my car and drive off into the night.
It is intense, gang. And that is my life, every day now. While I’m trying to find a free moment to work on my memoir, come to terms with my own life.
************
So that is it, for now.
Phil should be live tonight at 8PM Eastern time, but we’ll see!! Obviously, check here later to confirm.

Christmas-listening music from this morning!!! Play it loud!! Enjoy, gang!
I have to scoot here soon and work a double shift, but I just wanted to mention that all the Q-related channels that I follow are posting things about “not getting emotional” and “POTUS is 100% insulated”. Meaning that Trump is safe and some sort of White Hat optics will be playing out.
Also, Phil’s message last night was interesting. If you didn’t read it, it is here:
Meanwhile, the instructor at the shooting range last night said my shooting and my aim were “excellent” !!! Both with the rifle and the handgun. It was an intense 3-hour course.
And then I awoke to discover that my friend overseas had taken those lyrics I wrote when I was 14 (see post from this past week) and he put them to music and it was so beautiful!!!❤️
Okay, I gotta scoot. Have a great Saturday, wherever you are in the world.
Yes! Today I have the entire day off! And I have no clue what that means anymore!!
And then Saturday & Sunday, I have back-to-back double shifts — and you have no idea the huge amount of driving involved in that. But then I get Monday off again!
So I am slowly beginning to remember what it feels like to be a human being.
Today, I am putting up the Christmas tree, and then this evening, I take that 3-hour class in Beginning Firearms Training. I do not know if I am actually going to buy a gun today, or not. But I think they are planning to sell me one (and ammo), so we’ll see how I feel about that when the time comes.

Okay. I think that is it for now. I gotta get started on that Christmas tree.
Have a fantastic Friday wherever you are in the world.
Regarding the situation with the Government in France collapsing yesterday, it’s curious that Trump will be attending the reopening ceremony of the Cathedral of Notre Dame this weekend, isn’t it? And that it’s his first trip overseas since winning the election…
Almost as interesting as when Mike Obama was drinking wine on a luxury boat on the Seine while Notre Dame burned…
Timing is everything…

Phil rescheduled his livestream from last night for Friday & Saturday nights instead, 8 PM Eastern, both nights. He says it is very good news/intel. You can listen to his message here from yesterday if you haven’t already.
“…The American public has been generationally brainwashed by a steady diet of scary anti-Arab propaganda, pro-Israel sympathy and (especially!) fanatical Fake Theology. This is a reality that astute politicians have to carefully maneuver around — and nobody plays the game better than Commander Trump. .
A final and just peace between the Palestinian people and Israel has ALWAYS been Trump’s true objective. Now that his position of political power is unassailable, that fact becomes even more obvious. This is especially so with regard to his recent selection of a Lebanese-American Christian named Massad Boulos as Senior Advisor on Arab and Middle Eastern Affairs. Not only is Mr. Boulos highly respected and trusted by the Arab states, he is also the father-in-law of Tiffany Trump, Trump’s youngest daughter. […]”

Early morning listening music! Bob Dylan, “Key West.” 2020. I’ve posted it here before, but here it is again! Enjoy, gang.
McKinley hollered - McKinley squalled
Doctor said McKinley - death is on the wall
Say it to me if you got something to confess
I heard all about it - he was going down slow
Heard it on the wireless radio
From down in the boondocks - way down in Key West
I’m searchin’ for love and inspiration
On that pirate radio station
It’s comin’ out of Luxembourg and Budapest
Radio signal clear as can be
I’m so deep in love I can hardly see
Down in the flatlands - way down in Key West
Key West is the place to be
If you’re lookin’ for immortality
Stay on the road – follow the highway sign
Key West is fine and fair
If you lost your mind, you’ll find it there
Key West is on the horizon line
I was born on the wrong side of the railroad track
Like Ginsberg, Corso and Kerouac
Like Louie and Jimmy and Buddy and all of the rest
It might not be the thing to do
But I’m stickin’ with you through and through
Down in the flatlands - way down in Key West
I got both my feet planted square on the ground
Got my right hand high with the thumb down
Such is life - such is happiness
Hibiscus flowers grow everywhere here
If you wear one put it behind your ear
Down on the bottom - way down in Key West
Key West is the place to go
Down by the Gulf of Mexico
Beyond the sea - beyond the shifting sand
Key West is the gateway key
To innocence and purity
Key West - Key West is the enchanted land
I’ve never lived in the land of Oz
Or wasted my time with an unworthy cause
It’s hot down here and you can’t be overdressed
The tiny blossoms of a toxic plant
They can make you dizzy - I’d like to help ya but I can’t
Down in the flatlands - way down in Key West
The fishtail ponds and the orchid trees
They can give you the bleedin’ heart disease
People tell me - I oughta try a little tenderness
Amelia Street - Bay View Park
Walkin’ in the shadows after dark
Down under - way down in Key West
I play the gumbo limbo spirituals
I know all the Hindu rituals
People tell me that I’m truly blessed
Bougainvillea bloomin’ in the summer and spring
Winter here is an unknown thing
Down the flatlands - way down in Key West
Key West is under the sun
Under the radar - under the gun
You stay to the left and then you lean to the right
We haven’t had much snow to speak of, yet, but we now have the freezing temperatures of December upon us.
I haven’t mentioned on the blog that yet another cat (another black one) has set up housekeeping on my kitchen porch. She arrived out of nowhere, about 6 weeks ago, and has never left. So, the other day, I bought her an all-weather house, assembled it and set it out for her and so far, she seems extremely happy with the new digs and has not frozen to death.
KonTiki and the other black cat only show up at mealtimes now. They prefer hanging out in the barn during the cold weather. But, overall, it is just getting ridiculous, the amount of cats.
And the actual owners of the fosters that I’ve been fostering for about 8 months already — I’m guessing they are never coming back. The last I heard from them was in late September and the situations going on in their lives were absolutely not good. So on we go.
Anyway.
Really. there is no news. Nothing but psy-ops out there, gang. A lot of them are really GREAT psy-ops. (For instance, I love this new term: “Elon Anon”!! About Elon and all his Q references.) But still. Nothing to report that you can’t find everywhere else.

And in my own life–
Valerie completed her painting on Monday night! This is a great thing, gang. She really, really needs to be painting right now. I am so happy for her.
And as far as my memoir research goes– yesterday, I posted about re-discovering the songs I’d written in the 1970s. Especially songs I’d written in 1974-1975. This is when I was 14 and 15 years old and I cannot get over the quality of the lyrics.
I was lucky enough to have English teachers in Jr. High School who really supported my writing. I wasn’t just writing in a vacuum. However, at home, it was just me alone in my room with my guitar, writing TONS of songs, all the time. The world in my room was always a whole other planet and, for the most part, a safe haven from my seriously abusive adoptive mother.
Well, yesterday, I mentioned a song I re-discovered, that I’d written a couple weeks before I attempted suicide, at age 14. And I was blown away by it. Because it was all there, you know?
I didn’t understand back then the concept of “suicide” or trying to kill oneself. I was not “suicidal” but, by reading over the lyrics, I so obviously needed an escape route. So much awful shit was happening in my life back then. It was relentless. (Except that, one week before I’d written the song, I’d seen the Rolling Stones in concert for the first time, up in Cleveland.)
I typed up the lyrics yesterday so that I could send them to a friend overseas, and I reprint them here for you now.
“Daughter of What Ought to Be” (June 21, 1975 – Marilyn Joy Barck)
She walks past the window The world is stopped in time Dreams of a name brightly Written ‘cross the sky.
She waits for a minute Then opens up her eyes She sees that she’s late now So out the door she flies.
Her keys in her pocket She’s walking down the stairs Outside the feeling of Summer in the air.
I know, for a second, She sadly looks around But sees that it’s useless And moves on without a sound.
CHORUS: The daughter of what ought to be Not what she’d like to be And she will never be set free Because she’s a slave to what they Said she ought to be, Though she’s not what she wants to be And she will never be set free.
There’s a war in her soul A fire in her heart An idea in her mind A restless urge to fly.
A smile paints her face A glow enters her eyes There’s a bomb in her hand But, no, how could she Let down all her friends?
(REPEAT CHORUS) The daughter of what ought to be Not what she’d like to be And she will never be set free Because she’s a slave to what they Said she ought to be, Though she’s not what she wants to be And she will never be set free.
I will probably type up more of the songs and include them in some way in the memoir. We’ll see. For now, 99% of them are handwritten on notebook paper, which is also an interesting feeling for me.
************
All right, that’s it for now. I gotta see my favorite 94-year-old Japanese man today! So I gotta scoot.
Enjoy your Wednesday, wherever you are in the world, gang.

Looking back on it, and without getting maudlin about it, this song really sort of nails it for me — who I was and how I felt back in 1974/75.
Peter & Gordon, “A World Without Love” 1964.
“A World Without Love”
Please lock me away And don’t allow the day Here inside, where I hide with my loneliness I don’t care what they say I won’t stay in a world without love
Birds sing out of tune And rain clouds hide the moon I’m okay, here I’ll stay with my loneliness I don’t care what they say I won’t stay in a world without love
So I wait and in a while I will see my true love smile She may come, I know not when When she does, I’ll lose So baby until then
Lock me away And don’t allow the day Here inside, where I hide with my loneliness I don’t care what they say I won’t stay in a world without love
So I wait and in a while I will see my true love smile She may come, I know not when When she does, I’ll know So baby until then
Lock me away And don’t allow the day Here inside, where I hide with my loneliness I don’t care what they say I won’t stay in a world without love
I don’t care what they say I won’t stay in a world without love
