Except for all the news that was news yesterday… there was not much that was different today.
Phil did post a video from his car yesterday. Aside from it having to do with Egyptians (?) I have no clue what he was trying to say. (“Walk Like An Egyptian” by the Bangles, was the song he was playing in his car. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if something happens regarding Egypt ?)
Oh, and about 40 years ago, when I was living in NYC, working part-time at the Museum of Modern Art, and was a singer-songwriter, playing the clubs at night , I had a very active crush on the guy who’d produced “Walk Like An Egyptian”, among a million other songs and albums. He was very nice to me and flirted with me constantly. MoMA was basically next door to Columbia Records, where the guy worked, and he was newly divorced at that time and lived in a very upscale apartment building on the other side of MoMA, so he was constantly at MoMA. Anyway. eventually, he was suddenly really, really rude to me and I had a real problem with that, so that fizzled out fast.
Anyway. That was 40 years ago. And I digress. I’m guessing that had nothing to do with Phil’s post.

And Phil has been told he can’t do a live right now, but he gave us the most encouraging message about GESARA at the same time. And the one thing he does post about (yesterday) was Verizon going down, when quite a few cellphone carriers were down, as well.
And not a peep out of Phil regarding Hurricane Helene.
When people compare Hurricane Helene to what happened in Maui, there appear to be a few key differences to me — the main one being that FEMA has NOT had a huge presence during this current disaster. Which probably means that FEMA has stopped being evil, now that most of the remaining bad guys were taken out during the atrocity of Maui. (?)
Then there’s that fact that MSM and the fake Biden/Kamala regime were seemingly ignoring what had happened in the southern States regarding Helene’s path of devastation (areas with a huge amount of Trump voters), making it easy for Trump to go in (as CIC) and behave like the actual President.
I also think it’s interesting that Charlie is once again absent from his Daily News videos — is that because of his voice problems, or does he give too much intel with the news?? I don’t know…

Attorney Tony Buzbee of the Buzbee Law Firm took to his company’s Instagram page Thursday to share the news, explaining that the firm was asked by the Ava Law Group “to act as Lead Counsel to pursue claims on behalf of more than fifty individuals who suffered sexual assault and abuse at the hands of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his cohorts.”

Driving-to-town music from yesterday. The late, great Lou Reed, “Sally Can’t Dance.” From the fall of 1974.
I bought this album at the local Woolworth’s store when I was 14. In fact, I bought a lot of iconic albums at that specific store over the years — it was within walking distance of our house. I bought Exile on Main St there. And The New York Dolls’ In Too Much Too Soon. A bunch of Bowie albums, too.
And back then, the little area of Columbus we lived in was really just in the middle of nowhere. And for most of the years we lived there, I wasn’t old enough to drive. Thank god for record departments in local discount stores!! (And babysitting jobs!!)
If you didn’t live in NYC in the 1980s, then you likely don’t recognize the guys in that photo.
They were members of NYC’s Guardian Angels — they rode the subways as a vigilante gang to combat rampant subway crime and kept it safe for regular people to ride the trains again.
Yes, vigilante gangs are illegal. But when those guys boarded your subway car and just stood there, their arms folded across their chests, stoically staring, you knew you were safe and that nothing bad was going to happen on that ride.
They were awesome.

More from the Wild God Tour in Germany the other night!!
I booked my first trip back to NYC since pre-lockdowns!! And I’m pretty darn sure it is only the first of quite a few trips I’ll be making back there, in the vicinity of Off-Broadway.
Yesterday, Wayne bought us tickets to see the play together, and I got a great deal on airfare (!!) and on a HOTEL ROOM (!!) off of Times Square.
No more driving (11 hours) to Sandra’s house in Rhinebeck and then taking the train to Manhattan. And no more strange Airbnb’s for me, gang. I’m back to flying and to using hotels — I really, really prefer them.
AND, my Q-following friend is taking me to and from the Columbus airport. AND one of my former co-workers from the train station will be checking in on the 723 million cats while I’m gone… so that’s all taken care of.
Well, Wayne got 2 tickets for us to see the exhibit together while I am there in NYC!!! Wow!!!
And one of the great perks about my part-time job (and one of the reasons I wanted it) — any time you request time-off, you GET IT.
So, off I go, gang!! (In mid-November.)

The paperback books cost money to print, so they will never be free. But I am tired of feeling blocked at every turn now by book-selling sites that are banning erotic literature and/or having my eBooks being offered for free — illegally — by others, all over the Internet. Do you remember we used to really, really have fun? We’d be just by ourselves, mucking around, really relaxed, not under pressure. I guess that’s how we make up songs! I remember we were in bed and we imagined someone upstairs. I don’t even know if we heard footsteps or imagined someone upstairs, then imagined the story. That was in that little place opposite Brixton Prison. I didn’t even really realise that everyone wasn’t like that. We tried to write a contract of love, but we only got as far as doing the border. There was never any words in it, which I thought said more than anything else.
Well, I had been hoping for some great news to post to the blog this morning, but it’s not as great as I was hoping for. Still, it’s better than nothing.
If you’ve been following this blog throughout the 5th Gen war, you know that during the lockdowns, I basically lost everything and had to declare bankruptcy.
I used to lease (great!) cars from Honda, but when the last lease was up, I was in bankruptcy and wasn’t allowed to lease a car because I had abysmal credit. So, this 2022 Honda Civic (that I’ve had for the past 2 years), I had to purchase and it was really expensive because of my bad credit.
And now that I’m working part-time in senior care, I don’t make a whole lot of money, and the Civic was blowing through all my savings.
THEN! Honda got in touch with me on Tuesday and wanted to buy back my 2022 Civic, because of the shortage of good used cars. Yay! And they were going to be able to arrange another lease for me on a new 2024 Civic instead — for less money. Yay!
And that did indeed happen last night — after 3 often agonizing hours of them trying to get me the best deal. (Honestly, I love that Honda dealership, gang. I’ve been going there for 7 years and they always do everything they can to help me get what I need.)
At 8PM last night, they finally came over to me and said; “Okay, we’ve got good news!”
So, at 10AM, I’m going back into town to pick up my brand new 2024 Honda Civic sedan. And it’s a lease. Yay. And it’s less money than I’ve been paying for the last 2 years, yay — but the bankruptcy is still an issue, so it’s not a whole lot less than I’ve been paying for the last 2 years.
But it will indeed help. So on we go. This is what my new car looks like:

After the Sheriff (!!) paid me a very friendly visit yesterday morning, saying that the City Council is “requesting” that I trim back my ENORMOUS hydrangea bush because it’s blocking the sidewalk….
To be fair — my hydrangea bush was off the charts this year. It truly was/is enormous.
Luckily, the weather is lovely here today and I don’t have any patients to visit today. Plus, it’s basically fall now and the hydrangea blooms are turning brown anyway.
So that’s what I’m doing this morning. Cutting it back for the winter.

Our tickets arrived!!! And — yes! — now I have to make sure I don’t lose track of them for EIGHT months… (they are currently under a magnet on the front of the refrigerator).

I want to just make a quick comment about my new part-time job, caring for the house-bound elderly.
The patients that they assign me are truly incredible, gang. Just beautiful people, with a lot of grace, faith, dignity, and courage. I am generally moved beyond words by theses people’s lives. Their memories, their personal and family histories, their homes. Not to mention the physical things they are struggling with now.
When I am leaving a patient’s house and heading home for the evening, I am always in this very fragile sort of emotional place. It takes me a while to come fully out of it.
I have done this type of work before, a long time ago, but I never had patients like all these people are turning out to be. One after another, after another. (I’m wondering if my file at the Agency says; If they are devout Christians, with staggering homes and amazing lives, give them to Marilyn.)
BTW, tomorrow morning, early, I have another new patient — well, a husband and wife. So I likely will not be posting to the blog tomorrow morning.

I spent the half-hour before the debate started, hanging out on Dan Bongino’s pre-debate show on his rumble channel, and even though he’s really fun, I could barely stomach even that.
So when I switched over to Phil’s channel at 9PM, and discovered how he was planning to “simulcast” the debate — by having us watch it on our own TVs and he would only comment occasionally, while staying muted most of the time…
Well. That was actually great with me. Since I don’t have regular television, and since Phil was going to be muted most of the time, I turned off my phone and went to sleep early.
And I didn’t mind it a bit, actually.
This morning, however. Trying to get caught up on the “news” — every time I see the (fake) Kamala’s face, or hear even a snippet of her (fake) voice, I just cringe.
The only debate I would watch — in a nanosecond — would be if Trump visited the real Kamala in her cell at Gitmo and has a debate with her that way!!! Truly. I’d be there in a heartbeat for that one.

In other news —
The pre-sale ticket thing for Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ Wild God tour yesterday morning was off the charts chaotic.
The website got completely overwhelmed from the outset. At 9AM, I got my verification code and was on the site for one hour before the tickets went on sale at 10AM, and when they finally opened it up, it kept crashing.
Several times, it put me in the queue to buy tickets for a concert I didn’t want to go to. A band I’d never heard of. In a totally different town.
Then when I was able to finally get into the area where you can choose your seats and add them to the cart, it kept doing that annoying thing: One of more of the seats you selected is no longer available. And the seating chart would refresh.
It did that to me about 5 times.
I finally ended up with 2 tickets, way far to the side, but at least they’re on the main floor, close-ish to the stage. It only took half an hour (!!).
And since they are not great seats, they were only a fraction of the price of the seats I’d been trying to get.
So. Long story short. Kara and I have tickets to see Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds EIGHT months from now!
Then I had to scurry off to be with my new patient. Yes, indeed, it was a typo — she was not 4 inches tall! (See yesterday’s post.) She’s 4 inches, plus 5 feet!
What a wonderful lady! Just a real gem. We had such a nice afternoon. I will only get to be with her a few times, though, because she lives most of the year in Florida — all of her primary doctors are down there. But I’m so glad I’m getting to know her, even for a little bit. She is almost 90 and sharp as a tack. (She went to Yale University after WWII and holds several Divinity Degrees from Yale. Wow. Did we have some cool conversations about Christianity yesterday.)
