All righty!
Day 2 of 2022, and day 2 of rain. But all I am planning to do today is take down the tree and all the Christmas decorations, and then store them back in the storage closet until they come right back out again next year.
And then I will clean the house a little bit.
Okay. As you can guess, not much news. At all.
From Pro j ec t V er i tas:
Of interest from Whiplash347 – a veritable stream of comms from S c a v ino on Instagram:
“DanScavino IG The last 17 hours
Fireworks.
The Monhonk Mountain House.
Chill o’ clock.
Golfing duds.
Dog Comms. One black dog of many.

If you think I’m burning out, I never am. I’m

And then this post (!!!):

I found this extremely interesting, all recent rumors about South Africa considered. (Will the US Capitol be next?)
From RT News:
“WATCH: Parliament on fire in Cape Town
The building of the national assembly in Cape Town, South Africa caught fire on Sunday morning, with flames and black smoke seen from far away.
Flames have been spreading in the building from the fire, which started around 5am, local media reports, citing officials. It has spread to the roof, according to mayoral committee member for safety and security JP Smith.”
And considering my novel-in-progress, Thug Luckless, about an abandoned A I male sex robot in a post-Apocalypse dystopia , I found this very interesting, too.
From RT News:
“Tesla Bots could become companions with ‘unique’ personalities, Musk says
Tesla CEO Elon Musk claimed this week that his company’s in-development humanoid robots could form personalities that match their owners and become good companions, as well as laborers.
After being asked on the Lex Fridman Podcast whether Tesla’s robots could serve as a “friend or assistant” and help combat loneliness, Musk replied, “Yeah, I think the possibilities are endless.”

And I see that Nick Cave just now sent out a new Red Hand File for the New Year. I have not read it yet, but it has something to do with poetry and love!! You can read it here.

Okay. And that is it. Have a wonderful day, wherever you are in the world.
Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!
I leave you with my breakfast-listening music from today. “Old Man” by Art Garfunkel, 1973. It’s sad, but enjoy.

My ex-husband in NYC sent me this song last night, because of something I am currently going through with my entirely estranged family, and it is quite beautiful:
