What a difference a great big bunch of SUN makes in my ability to tolerate “being here.”

Even though I still have my usual stress factors going on here — 2 homeless houseguests and their many (adorable) young cats living in my guestroom; exhaustion at the train station; still grieving my dad’s death; and a TON of work that always needs my attention on the TV pilot and preparing for the staged reading of our play Off-Broadway; oh, and, like NO time to be with my actual friends…

Anyway, sunshine and warmer temperatures make things at least tolerable around here.

This is from Charlie’s newsletter last night, even more good news about Ivermectin –but this is actually bittersweet news, since my birth father died from esophageal cancer 26 years ago, and my adoptive dad just died from prostate cancer:

I got an early start on errands today, so that I could still have most of the day left to work on the TV Pilot here at home.

Peitor is heading to Cannes, like, tomorrow to pitch the series to a producer who has already shown interest in Abstract Absurdity Productions’ projects. We are almost done getting the promo package together, but the actual Pilot script is still in-progress.

Okay, so the really really great news is that I survived 4 days at the train station!

I did a lot of prayer work and visualization on my legs and my legs held up GREAT yesterday. I had no pain whatsoever. Plus I had a GREAT crew yesterday!! I am not usually a supervisor on the day shift. I usually only supervise nights, but wow. Several new folks have come onboard. Everyone was fantastic and we were able to get the place cleaned, everyone out, get the place locked up, head home, over 1 HOUR earlier than usual. Even though it was Mother’s Day and had been really, really busy.

So I came home a very happy camper yesterday.

And today starts a 3-day run of nonstop work at my desk: updates and revisions on our play, The Guide to Being Fabulous, as it heads to its Off-Broadway staged reading and to a meeting with HBO… (yay!)

And more and more and MORE work on the TV Pilot with Peitor and getting the package together for the series. We already have very impressive representation for the project, as well. So, really good stuff happening all the way around.
