Another Amazing Monday in the Hinterlands!

Great weather again today, gang. I’m guessing this is going to be a really productive day.

I am actually on a sort of “holiday” — I have 5 days off in a row this week because the train station is closed on the 4th of July.

Also — it looks like we might have been really lucky to have already had our fireworks on such a perfect night (this past Friday), because as of now, they are expecting rain here on the 4th. We shall see.

Today the Supreme Court is supposed to rule on Presidential Immunity so we’ll have to wait and see what comes from that.

Aside from Steve Bannon having to report to prison today (which I think is optics but its looking like he’s still gotta go in there), there is not much news.

From Bannon’s War Room last night:

“Charlie Kirk On The Imprisonment Of Steve Bannon During Campaign Season: ‘The PROMISE I Make To You Is That This Is Only Going To Make Us Work Harder.'”

Phil is planning to go live tonight at 9PM Eastern time. Check the link later to confirm.

In other news!

Nick Cave sent out a Red Hand File today — a celebration, of sorts!

With great pleasure, no small amount of gratitude, and even a certain pride, I would like to announce that today I received the 100,000th question to The Red Hand Files, all of which I have read.”

He went on to answer 3 questions today, and he closed, in part, with:

Thank you all for sending in your questions and comments to The Red Hand Files. I cannot begin to express how important they have been to my understanding of the connectedness of things. Indeed, their effect has been profoundly humanising. …”

You can read it in full here.

And that’s it for now. Let’s see what happens with SCOTUS today.

Enjoy your Monday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting!

I love you guys. See ya!

Yes! We are still listening to the Bee Gees around here in the mornings. But we have fully progressed into their phenomenally successful disco era!!

I leave you with this gem from the final year of my wee bonny teenaged girlhood!! “Tragedy”, 1979. This song was popular when I moved briefly to Ukiah, California:

Ukiah, California

And I lived briefly in one of these (same color and model as this one!):

Okay!! Enjoy, gang!!!
