Kittens, that is.
Gone in a heartbeat yesterday:
Freddie chewed through the charger cord for my Black & Decker cordless handheld vac — it was completely ruined before I even noticed he was chewing on it.
So, $20 later, this will be arriving on Tuesday:
And then last night, I went to the bathroom for about 2 seconds and when I got back to the bedroom, the little plastic thingie that holds my iPhone horizontally while I watch re-runs of “Seinfeld” in bed had completely and utterly and TOTALLY disappeared!!
And the bedroom door was shut because the AC was on. It is in my bedroom SOMEWHERE but I absolutely cannot find it!
So, $14 later, this indescribably juvenile holder- thingie will also be arriving on Tuesday:
Other than annoying things like that, kittens are mostly adorable…

Meanwhile, here’s this (43 seconds):

Anyway.
I thought this was very interesting, gang. I’m not sure if it has to do with Alaska and Putin next Friday, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out. (There are SO MANY psyops going on right now, gang, it is kind of exhilarating!)
From il donaldo trumpo:
WE’RE GONNA NEED MORE POPCORN THIS WEEK!!!😎🍿(20 seconds):

Okay.
Here’s this:
Keith in London in 1974 (in the days when he still had his “real” teeth):

And as we wait for the 2 sold out shows in Latvia (Tuesday and Wednesday):
(Apparently today’s theme is: Heroes Smoking Cigarettes.)

Other than that!!
Our lunch date at Peony Bistro was really good but I don’t want to say more than that, because we mostly talked about some intense personal stuff going on in Dennis’ world right now.
I don’t think he would mind if I add this, though:
So it was intense, but as always, it was really, really nice hanging out with him, eating sushi and lo mein, and talking and talking and talking.
TRY IT REAL SLOW
Driving in the dead of night
Coasting through a traffic light
Aiming for a back road
Where we could park it for the night
Thinking we would make it sober and
Try it real slow.
There’s music on the radio
Screaming bunch of white boys
Churning out the Black soul
But turning it to white noise
Well, we could learn to make it sober by
Trying real slow.
CHORUS
Any disappointed stranger will tell you
Love is just a ball & chain
Oh but baby you’re the kind of man
That I like to talk to
You can play the wine & dine
Pick yourself a pretty wife
Gather all that you can hold
But drag it round your whole life
Or you could learn to make it sober by
Trying real slow
REPEAT CHORUS
I turned it over, round and round
Chasing it the hard way
Until my dreams were just a white line
Sailing down the Interstate;
Well, love was gonna shake me sober
But I didn’t let it grow.
Any disappointed stranger will tell you
Love is just a ball & chain
Oh but baby you’re the kind of man
That I like to talk to
Oh, but you and me will be all right
By letting every yesterday
Go fading with the taillights
Sailing down the highway
And we can learn to make it sober
By trying real slow.
Yeah, we can learn to make it sober
By trying real slow

Today is my day to work with the retired Minister and his lovely wife, and watch things like “Love Boat,” “The Andy Griffith Show,” and “Daniel Boone”. So that should be nice.
And since it’s later this afternoon, it gives me a few leisurely hours here to do more laundry, vacuum, and stay on top of the flea situation… Yay.
As always, my main concern is for my ferals. Since I can’t touch them the best I can do is sprinkle flea meds in their general direction and wait for it to just spread to all of them. (Although I did manage to get some meds directly on Huckleberry, so that is good news.)
How this became my life, gang, I just don’t know, but on we go.

Thanks for visiting.
I love you guys. See ya!

I leave you with this!!
This song never fails to calm me the fuck down!! Yay!!
Tom Petty’s classic, “Wildflowers,” from his triple-platinum solo album of the same name, Wildflowers, 1994. Enjoy, gang.
“Wildflowers”
You belong among the wildflowers
You belong in a boat out at sea
Sail away, kill off the hours
You belong somewhere you feel free
Run away, find you a lover
Go away somewhere all bright and new
I have seen no other
Who compares with you
You belong among the wildflowers
You belong in a boat out at sea
You belong with your love on your arm
You belong somewhere you feel free
Run away, go find a lover
Run away, let your heart be your guide
You deserve the deepest of cover
You belong in that home by and by
You belong among the wildflowers
You belong somewhere close to me
Far away from your trouble and worry
You belong somewhere you feel free
You belong somewhere you feel free
c – 1994 Tom Petty
