Just Some Updates!

Still no news, gang. Besides optics and Q comms & deltas.

This got posted again, however – (it means we’re still watching a movie, gang). From il donaldo trumpo:

I NEED A POPCORN BUTTON!!!🤣🍿🍿🍿

However.

In other news–

This was great!!

From the recent opening of Nick Cave’s art exhibit at the Voorlinden Museum in the Netherlands. (1hr 12 mins):

************
And there’s THIS!!

Apparently, it is open to the public, gang. TONIGHT from 6-10pm, MST, so if you live in Aspen, scurry on over!!!

***********

And there is THIS!!

Wayne and I might be taking a little road trip together in late April to Pikeville, Kentucky, to see Dwight Yoakam and the Mavericks!!

Pikeville is only about 4 hours from here, and it’s not only the birthplace of Dwight Yoakam, but also the town where a huge portion of my paternal ancestors lived. (The May family.)

Also, while we’re in Pikeville, we might head over to Robinson Creek and take a look around. My great-great-great grandfather founded the town of Robinson Creek, and way back then he lived on the banks of the actual creek.

Robinson Creek, Kentucky

And here’s a new interview with James Tabor. Jesus’ Resurrection Physical or Spiritual? What Do our Earliest Texts Really Say? (53 mins):

And that’s it for now! I gotta scoot. I might not be posting tomorrow, because I have a double shift that starts early.

Enjoy your Saturday, wherever you are in the world!!

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

I leave you with these timeless treasures!!

Back At It!

Well, the “news” is still really quiet out there . So I don’t have anything to post regarding that.

Although I want to wish a belated happy birthday to Lt. General Mike Flynn (Dec. 24th).

***************

The holidays are essentially over for me. At least that “holiday mindset” is over. I’m just focused on work now, and on getting back to “normal”…

This morning, I had my first phone chat with Sandra since November. We are now officially back to work on “The Guide to Being Fabulous”!! So I feel really hopeful that this will pull me past the slump of missing my dad so much during Christmas. And get me back on track with the rest of my life.

I hope everyone out there has had a great time celebrating, or meeting up with family and friends — however you spend the days surrounding Christmas. I know that for many people, it was just a really weird Christmas this year. I know that I’m already looking forward to next Christmas being a whole lot better.

Meanwhile….

I don’t have to go to my shift until this evening, so I’m getting stuff done around the house today.

Enjoy your Friday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

New song by David Lee Roth — “Forgiveness”.

Christmas Update!

I spent Christmas Day at my 94year-old Japanese client’s house. We had such a beautiful time!

His private nurse had left food in the fridge for me to prepare for Christmas. And I served it on his late wife’s good holiday dishes, which seemed to just thrill him. She has been gone for 6 years now and so no one ever serves him his meals on the good dishes anymore.

His whole face lit up when he came to the table.

And look at the Christmas gift he gave me!! Gloves. They kind of took my breath away:

Okay!

I hope you’ve had a great Christmas today, if you celebrate it.

And here’s a photo of my family room from this morning:

Have a great night!

I love you guys! See ya!

*********

Thank you! Thank you very much!!

Wow. What great timing.

Of course I refer to Trump’s comments at Amfest, about how, on Day One, he’s going to put an end to the “transgender lunacy.”

I happen to agree with the fine print of that comment, but the timing of that blatant remark… As Sandra and I are getting ready to take our play, “The Guide to Being Fabulous” to Off-Broadway in NYC.

That should make for a nice political sh*t storm. Thank you very much.

Anyway!

**********

Since Christmas is essentially here already, not much news is getting posted. I think a lot of folks are off, enjoying the holiday already.

We’re all hoping that Phil doesn’t cancel again tonight. He’s expected to be live at 7PM Eastern time, but check here later to confirm.

I thought this was interesting.

From News Treason Channel 17:

“So now we have talk of Canada as the 51st State, seizing back the Panama Canal and buying Greenland.

These statements, whether some were presented in jest (Canada) or not are all connected somehow.

As per usual there’s some signal here.

Worth keeping eyes 👀 on…”

**********

And speaking of PayPal, in a round about way (Musk was also one of the founders of PayPal). This was also interesting.

From Mike King’s Anti-NY Times:

Agent Musk Endorses Far Right in Europe

‘Elon Mask’ — the imposter playing the role of the dispossessed and probably dead Globalist arch-criminal Elon Musk — and the committee of Q operatives incessantly posting in his name on Twitter / X together now constitute the single most powerful force supporting The Great Awakening worldwide.

We have already witnessed what this stunning transformation from Globalist Golden Boy to Trumpian Water Boy has done to shift American political opinion rightward. Federal filings have just revealed that Mask spent more than a quarter of a billion dollars in the final months of the 2024 campaign to reelect Commander Trump. And now, the Frankenstein Monster Media Mogul — in both the form of his ill-gotten money and his puffed-up persona — is being harnessed to the task of promoting the “far right” parties of libtarded Western Europe as well. I loved this. Be sure to watch until the music part is shown. It is very uplifting. I don’t know the song, but I wish I could have been there!

Our Daily Feature continues!

What Would Keith Richards Do?

Our selection is once again from Chapter Five: Daily Affirmations. And the exciting topic for today is RON WOOD:

Keith points out:

“I’ve known him as stoned out of his brain… and I’ve known him straight sober. And quite honestly, there’s very little difference.”

I don’t know, but I thought that was sort of cheerful news! I guess just keep it in mind if you find yourself vacillating about joining AA this Christmas…

************

That’s it for today!

I have the day off. It’s cold but sunny! I have a couple of really quick local errands to run right here in the village, and then the rest of the day belongs to just ME. Yay!

Enjoy your Monday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

************

I leave you with the Christmas breakfast-listening-music from today!!

Another one of my favorites. From the Ultra Lounge Christmas Cocktails collection, 1996, Ray Anthony’s “Christmas Trumpets” from 1966. This is fantastic, gang! It had me dancing around the kitchen, with one of the little foster cats in my arms, and she was purring like crazy!

If you’ve never heard it before, check it out and, if you’re still having your breakfast, with or without a cat, then get up and dance around your kitchen!! Okay. Enjoy!

Is it Over yet?

I don’t know, apparently not.

From SG Anon yesterday :

“A major false_flag against America is coming, which will propel us at warp speed into the future. More on this in the coming Audio File.

See you soon.
~SG”

************

Phil is supposed to finally do a livestream tomorrow evening — Monday 12/23 at 7PM. Check here to confirm.

This will come five days after he told us he had HUGE news — “undoubtedly the most earth-shattering news I’ve ever reported”.

***********

Also, Trump posted a long very interesting comment about the Panama Canal, saying, in part:

“The United States has a vested interest in the secure, efficient, and reliable operation of the Panama Canal, and that was always understood. We would and will NEVER let it fall into the wrong hands! It was not given for the benefit of others, but merely as a token of cooperation with us and Panama. If the principles, both moral and legal, of this magnanimous gesture of giving are not followed, then we will demand that the Panama Canal be returned to us, in full, and without question. To the Officials of Panama, please be guided accordingly!”

But from il donaldo trumpo:

“I PROMISE NOT TO DO THIS TO PANAMA!!!”

**********

And there were other somewhat ominous posts by Q- followers. I’m not going to post it all here, but it was enough to make me feel, like: Oh crap…. now what?

And nary of sign of Trump with popcorn this time…

So I guess we just stay alert and wait and see.

On the home front, I had a really nice pre-Christmas celebratory lunch at Tequilaville with my Q-following girlfriend yesterday. It was her first time dining at Tequilaville, and she said: “Wow, the food here is really good. I never even knew this place was here!” She lives about 8 minutes from there. And now she wants to start meeting there more often for lunch.

I tell you, gang, more proof that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover:

The legendary Tequilaville

Overall, it’s been a really intense Christmas season for me. The combination of the caregiving jobs and my dad being gone now. But here’s something I can attest to:

Hawthorn Berry tea is GREAT at getting your heart to stop racing. I find that my heart has been racing constantly, the last couple of weeks.

2 tablespoons dried hawthorn berries, steeped in boiling water for about half an hour (longer is even better). For me, it starts working right away. (If you have high blood pressure, 2-3 cups a day is recommended.) (You can also take the dried berries as high potency pills, but I’ve never tried those.)

Anyway, I’m hoping to survive this Christmas, if only for the sake of the 723 cats who are relying on me around here. And I am hoping like HECK that next Christmas will be, I don’t know — less overwhelming.

And here’s our Daily Feature!

What Would Keith Richards Do?

And while it comes from the really interesting final chapter, titled: A Chronology of Trouble, it’s really different from anything we’ve landed on so far. The topic is CHILDHOOD.

It’s long, but in part, it says: “…he has a dream to be Roy Rogers: ‘He could shoot, play the guitar, and ride a great horse. What more do you want?’ Little Keith ‘Ricky’ Richards dresses up as Rogers, with cowboy hat and holsters, but is well known as a crybaby…”

After reading this passage on Keith Richards’ childhood, what sprang to my mind was that my grandmother, Cora May (yes! the same woman that served as my inspiration for the novella, A Man in Her Arms ), grew up next door to Roy Rogers (aka Leonard Slye), back in Portsmouth, Ohio, a really, really long time ago. And they were great friends until he went off to Hollywood to become a cowboy in the movies.

It is such a small world, isn’t it?

A photo of Portsmouth, Ohio, from 1908. The town is on the Ohio River, so the town floods constantly.

*********

And that is it for today.

Enjoy your Sunday, wherever you are in the world! If you live State-side, stay alert.

Thanks for visiting!

I love you guys. See ya!

**********

I leave you with this. It is a fantastic Tribute album, wherein a bunch of Country stars, from the 80s-90s, sing duets with Roy Rogers on some really great songs. It was his last album. It charted at #17 on Billboard’s Country Charts. If you have time, listen to the whole thing, because it really is a great collection.

“Roy Rogers Tribute”, 1991. Enjoy!

Looking like Christmas!

I don’t really have time to post this morning. I slept in a little and now I gotta scoot!

And after my shift with my 94 year-old Japanese man, I’m having my pre-Christmas lunch at Tequilaville with my Q-following friend!

Only 4 more days until Christmas, gang, and so far the house is not a complete disaster. The tree is still standing, although the foster cats climb it every night and they have knocked off dozens of ornaments, unstrung some lights and left the star askew….. I am still just grateful that they didn’t bring the whole tree down!! Yet!!!

Christmas Star Askew! Lights missing!
Just some of the dozens of ornaments they’ve knocked off the tree — but only one of them actually broke!!!

Okay, have a great Saturday, wherever you are in the world!

Thanks for visiting, I love you guys. See ya!!

How Beautiful!

Even though I am still really tired, I am bowled over by the beauty of my clients this season.

I was not expecting any gifts or even any cards, but my clients are kind of blowing me away with their kindness. Yesterday, one of my clients gave me a gift and a Christmas card that sort of took my breath away — and when I thanked her for it, the beautiful things she said to me about the job I do for her and her husband brought tears to my eyes.

It’s a difficult mix between knowing I will be alone this Christmas because my dad is gone now and I basically have no family left who are still speaking to me, and my friends are far away, spending Christmas with their families.

So the fact that I will actually be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with clients who genuinely care about me — it is hard to process that mix of gratitude, love, loss.

I have to say, though, I am really looking forward to spending Christmas Day with my 94-year-old Japanese client that I adore so much!!

We have such an incredible time when we are together. He and I have so many unlikely things in common that I could do a whole blog post about it.

When I saw him on Wednesday, in the course of our conversations, he said, “I only have a couple more minutes to live.”

And I said, “Do you think you could hold out for another week, because I’ll be coming here on Christmas and I’d hate to be here all by myself.”

He laughed. and he said, “Okay. I’ll hold on another week…”

I’m expecting Christmas Day with him to be just beautiful.

************

Anyway. I digress!

There is NO NEWS, gang!! It’s getting insane! The amount of stuff that they are pretending is happening that is not really happening….

I’ve been to Telegram, YouTube, Truth Social, Rumble, X….. and it is all the same.

This is not “news” but it’s interesting, if not sickening. You should probably read it.

From Mike King’s Anti-NY Times:

Communist Cuba was Made in the USA

“…Most Americans over the age of 45, and certainly all readers of The Anti-New York Times, should already know that Fidel Castro was a Communist dictator who ruined Cuba — driving its mostly White upper and middle classes to flee to Florida while the communist state and its rabble hordes dispossessed productive Cubans who stayed. There was celebration in the Cuban enclaves of Union City, NJ and Miami, FL when the unrepentant old bastard finally died in 2016..

Of more interest to our eager students of real history is the long-since forgotten story of the mighty media organization that dusted off the badly defeated rebel, put him back on his feet, and helped to install him as dictator. That’s right, boys and girls. Without the maneuvering of Sulzberger’s Slimes (aka “the paper of record”) — specifically the pro-communist correspondent Herbert Matthews (cough cough) — and the Evil Eisenhower-Dulles State Department, Castro’s revolution of 1959 would never have succeeded..[…]”

And in other news–

Nick Cave sent out the best Red Hand File yesterday!! It’s all about how he is going to be spending Christmas — with his family, and going to church.

I have to tell you, gang, just knowing that he is going to have such a perfect Christmas is going to make my own Christmas that much happier. It really is. I’m going to get a lot of joy out of just thinking about it.

He said, in part:

“…And somewhere, amid the feasting and joyful human messiness – this beautiful, this happy, this sorrowful estate – I will acknowledge how extraordinarily fortunate my family and I are to have this good Christmas Day. I will remember, too, amongst all the making and the doing, the energising principle around which this day revolves that speaks so eloquently of rebirth and renewal, and the end to waiting – that of a mother bearing a child in a stable, revitalising the world for all eternity.”

You can read it in full here.

And our Daily Feature is quite fitting today!

What Would Keith Richards Do?

Our random selection comes from Chapter Five: Daily Affirmations. And the topic is — CHILDREN (!!).

Keith says:

“They give you that little bit — that important bit of living when you absolutely don’t know shit about nothing.”

Who could say it better ???

***********

And that is actually it for today. I essentially have the “whole day off”, but then, tonight, I will be with that sweet 99-year-old blind lady, who lives out in the middle of deep, dark, snowy nowhere with 3 huge happy dogs and two big rascally black cats.

It’s a full house and it’s full of love, gang.

Okay.

Enjoy your Friday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

***********

I leave you with this.

The 94-year-old Japanese man had the great good fortune of seeing “South Pacific” on Broadway (in 1950), back when it was brand new and the legendary Mary Martin was starring in it.

What a fantastic show it is– the music, alone, is incredible. Imagine anyone being able to experience that show, live, on stage, when it was brand new. Let alone, being a young Japanese-American, who spent his childhood in Japan, during WWII, then returning to NYC at age 17, and then seeing a show like “South Pacific”.

He and I discuss that show all the time, actually. It’s a show I just love. And I adored Mary Martin when I was a little girl.

Last night, by candlelight, I lay in my bed, listening to a few of the songs from “South Pacific”, but once I landed on the song below, I couldn’t stop playing it!!! “This Nearly Was Mine”. I just kept thinking about the miracle that I have even met this amazing man so late in his life. It is such a blessing to me, to be able to hear about the stories of his life — they are extraordinary. Okay. Enjoy, gang!!

“This Nearly Was Mine”

One dream in my heart
One love to be livin’ for
One love to be livin’ for
This nearly was mine

One girl for my dream
One partner in paradise
This promise of paradise
This nearly was mine

Close to my heart she came
Only to fly away
Only to fly as day flies from moonlight
Now, now I’m alone
Still dreamin’ of paradise
Still sayin’ that paradise
Once nearly was mine

I’ll keep rememberin’ kisses
From lips I’ve never owned
And all the lovely adventures
That we have never known

One dream in my heart
One love to be livin’ for
One love to be livin’ for
This nearly was mine
