Ominous feelings out there this morning so just stay alert and stay safe, gang.

There was basically no news on the channels that I follow, which was extremely weird, in and of itself.

However, there were these items–

Wow. This is really one of those times where, if you’ve been following Q and/or Phil for awhile, you feel like you are living in a whole other universe from most people.

Mainly, the Assange thing. And now the Wikileaks/DNC thing, potentially paving the way for our beloved Hillary to step in, even though she’s been dead as a doornail for something like, I don’t know — 5 years??

Another stunning day ahead here, gang.

I’m heading to town here soon to get the many, many groceries. (Meaning, mostly for the many cats!)

Then more work on the screenplay adaptation with Sandra this afternoon. I finally made some decent progress on the script yesterday, now that the heatwave is over. The producer at HBO isn’t exactly drumming her fingers, waiting to see some pages of the script, but she kind of is…. So I’m glad to have my brain back.

There is a really great development regarding the staged reading of our play in NYC but I cannot post about it yet. But I mean, it is really great. And it only requires that I work myself to death, but, frankly, I don’t care. The trade off will be worth it.

Meanwhile…

You might recall the story about my new front door — it turned out that the door they brought last week, was too small. Lo! and behold, yesterday afternoon, they suddenly showed up with another new door. This one almost fits. It required a huge amount of drilling and sawing. And today, they are returning to finally finish it up. However — “drilling and sawing” created more sawdust in my family room than you can possibly imagine. So I spent about an hour cleaning that up yesterday, after having cleaned the entire house the day before…

I’m guessing more sawdust will bedazzle us this afternoon and more housecleaning will be required, but I’m not going to complain. All this work they’ve been doing around here has cost me nothing and the guys do really, really good work.

Of course, Q and Phil have basically told us that Assange has been in deep witness protection for a very long time now. And so the timing of his sudden release is optics. Albeit, really, really cool optics.

Phil has not had a comment on it, yet.

If you didn’t get a chance to see his Solo Tour, gang, it was just unbelievably good. Just incredible. So emotional. So moving. Even though I won’t be at any of these upcoming shows, I’m really sorry to see the tour end.

The weather is perfect for catching up on some gardening, so I’ve sent all the cats outdoors to take care of that for me!!

Aside from doing some weeding and then the laundry, I’ll be happily at my desk working on the screenplay adaptation for the entire day.

A young man from the UK wrote to him, with some — I don’t know — really intolerant views of his own parents, wanting Nick’s input. And Nick’s reply was really great. Sort of breathtaking, in his support of parents everywhere. He said, in part:

It is currently raining very lightly and I am just so happy, gang. Not only did the heatwave break, but I am totally loving my new gutters and downspouts and new roof and new ceilings….

So let it just rain and rain.

I am planning to work on the screenplay adaptation of The Guide to Being Fabulous today. I just love having my brain back.

I know — I look a lot younger when I’m soaking wet…

Okay. So, today is supposed to be the final day of the heatwave.

In case you don’t know, or you’ve forgotten, I don’t have AC in my 123-year-old house. But I do have 21 enormous windows and 2 brand new ceiling fans!! But it’s still unbelievably hot. And sunny!

Mostly, the intense heat just makes it really hard for me to think straight, so I haven’t gotten much writing done the past few days. So I’m looking forward to tomorrow and getting my brain back, even though it’s going to rain.

Yes, it’s very, very hot around here and it’s not at all conducive to thinking in any way whatsoever. But at least it is yet again a really pretty day!

Regarding the “news” — it does seem to be ratcheting up all over the place, doesn’t it?

If you listened to that news roundup that I posted last night, the 2 items I liked the most were about Trump being recognized as the US President by foreign countries now that the Supreme Court is (allegedly) FINALLY going to announce that they heard the Brunson case, which overturns the 2020 election. (I believe they heard the case a long time ago, they just haven’t gone public with their ruling yet).

There was also a quick mention of JFK Jr. appearing at a 4th of July celebration?? That went by so fast (plus I was driving when I was listening to it), that I almost missed that item. But that would be a huge BOOM, wouldn’t it??

We shall see how it all goes, gang. But it does seem that ever since Phil’s “Boom” livestream on Tuesday, the news coming from everywhere is just getting so intense (and very promising).

Charlie is in transit, so he wasn’t able to do his news update today, but here are Drew and Paul.

However, I did get my new ceiling fan installed in the family room yesterday, and it works great!! In fact, it almost works too good — it whirs around at such a phenomenal speed, that it looks like, at any moment now, we’re going to hear “lift off!”

Okay.

The guy who is installing my new front door should be arriving at any moment. They already dropped off the new door last night… It is just an ordinary door. It looks just like my kitchen door and my back door, so at least there will be uniformity — not something I really care about, but it’s something. Plus is has a big window, which I was hoping for.

Phil’s live last night was a little strange. Of course, I don’t necessarily believe him when he said the only intel he got was the word “Boom” with no explanation.

It makes me wonder why the splash page for his live was in Chinese… hmmm. And a photo of the Capitol building at night, with the word “Boom” over it…..The Chinese invented fireworks. Perhaps “this”Boom” has something to do with the 4th of July in DC?

He also brought up SCOTUS at the same time — will the Supreme Court have a big announcement around the 4th of July? Will Trump’s PEAD be involved?

Obviously, I don’t know. But I just didn’t get the feeling that what he told us last night was all that he knew.
