The warmer-weather-run broke last evening, but at least we still have sun and that’s a lot right there, gang.
Today, of course, is Sunday. The day that begins my real week, where I stare at all my many writing projects and try to figure out what the heck I’m doing! And, for the most part, I have a really great day.

Nick Cave sent out a Red Hand File last evening, and it was another one of those fun ones, wherein he answers 50 questions with only a yes, no, or I don’t know.
One of my house guests officially turns 27 today. He works with me at the train station, so last night, after work, I took him to a new smoke/vape shop in town so that he could pick out some things for his birthday.
If you think I have any fucking CLUE what any of the stuff is that they sell in those smoke/vape shops, you’d be sadly mistaken. But it was very bright and clean and friendly in there. And my house guest discovered that they have the best prices in town.
Since I was the one buying him the items, when we pulled up to the store, I said, “Is it okay if I come in with you? They’re not going to think I’m your mother, are they?”
“Not unless I call you ‘mom’. Should I call you ‘mom”?”
ME: “NOOOOOO!!!!!”
Anyway. The vape/smoke shop was an interesting experience for me and he seemed really, really happy with his birthday gifts. (And, yes, marijuana was involved in the items he bought but they don’t resemble or smell like any kind of marijuana I have ever encountered in my entire life.)
(And when we got back to the house, his wife said to me, “By the way, those hemp rolling papers you gave us were really great. Where can we get some more of those?” So that comment right there kind of indicates that I’m not anyone’s mom….) (Oh, and also, I get the papers from the health food store I used to work at, but they come from HERE. Along with THIS, which is also really cool.)

That conference call with my long-time accountant in NYC, that I posted about on Wednesday — yes, that same call that was going to help me get clarity on the projects on my plate, and which of them I might want to jettison, and which I might want to pursue… even though I love ALL of the projects, ALL of them are time consuming and require 100% of my concentration.
Well.
It led to YET ANOTHER AMAZING PROJECT on my plate.
So much for clarity, gang.
I then spoke at length with my best friend Val in Brooklyn, hoping to gain some clarity there maybe, and she said, “Oh gosh, Emmy. Holy shit. I don’t even know what to tell you.”
So, well, it was always good to at least chat with her, to keep myself from totally losing my mind.
Then I took a really nice walk because it was a gorgeous day here on Wednesday. I didn’t gain any kind of clarity from it but it did renew my incredible love for this strange and very old little village here in the middle of nowhere.
I guess I will just rely on prayer to find my way, or something like that. I do have an upcoming phone chat with Peitor, regarding Abstract Absurdity Productions stuff, but I’m guessing that will just add to the pile of cool projects on my plate… We’ll just see.

My trip to see my dad yesterday was heartbreaking. But, as always, he was in good spirits. That’s all I can really say about it for right now: It was heartbreaking.
Today, I am going to do a lot of soul-searching regarding my writing to try to assess what I really, really want to do regarding all these many projects that are on my desk.
I’m starting it with a conference call with my long-time accountant (when I’m actually earning enough money to need an accountant) in NYC because he is the most sober, level-headed person I know in the entertainment industry.
And from there, I will look at my life and what I want to do with it, at age 63 and a 1/2.

From yesterday’s 3-hour playlist!! I’ve posted it here before, but I love it. This song was a massive hit when I was 15 and still committed to the mental hospital. I used to listen to it on my radio, alone in my room, wishing I could be out of that awful captivity and living a life of my own — never dreaming that within 5 years, I would be living only a couple short blocks from Broadway… (And FYI, if you, too, are up against every ugly thing imaginable in the world right now, hang in there. There is still plenty of time to win.)
This will be brief today, since there is not a lot to report on, plus I’m hard at work on that screen adaptation of our play., “The Guide to Being Fabulous”. (And just as a reminder — these are only opening pages of the script. We don’t have to write the entire script right now. But the opening pages basically have to sell the whole movie so it needs to be really good.)
Okay.
Tomorrow, I drive down to see my dad again, so I likely won’t post tomorrow unless something huge happens.
And according to Phil’s intel last night (in a nutshell), White Hats are now free to start taking out deep state targets around the world… it won’t be WWIII, but, still. I’m so tired of all this war. Tired of so many people dying — the good, the bad, and the ugly. So much death everywhere.

Even though it’s still going to be cold, I’m looking forward to the sun. I always love driving to town on those beautiful backroads when the sun is shining — even if I’m only going to the train station.

So that will take me a while to digest, since I am right smack in the middle of re-structuring and re-writing and re-thinking “The Guide to Being Fabulous” as we adapt the play for film.
But anyway. I’ve got plenty to keep my brain busy for the next few years…

For the last couple of months, I’ve been sort of experimenting with various mediations and frequencies to fix my eyesight, just here at home.
I take the regular daily eyesight supplements (lutein and zeaxanthin, etc.), which sort of help make my eyes feel more comfortable, but don’t seem to do anything at all about fixing my vision.
I really like Binaural Beats healing frequencies and have had success with them for other things in the past, so for the last week, I’ve been doing one specifically for fixing eyesight and, this morning (after one week of listening for 30 minutes a day), I noticed an actual difference.
