We’ll see. We might not. The weather reports and the actual weather lately couldn’t be more mismatched if they tried.
However.
I’m getting a new roof soon and that overrides everything I now feel about the “weather”.
Those fantastic Amish guys! Coming soon to roof near you,!
Okay. So. News.
I’m not commenting on any of it, because even the worst of it (Taiwan, for instance) is a psyop of sorts, in my opinion. (More DUMBS being taken out, although we were told the DUMBS were all gone last year…)
Anyway. Here’s Charlie.
CHARLIE WARD DAILY NEWS WITH PAUL BROOKER & DREW DEMI – THURSDAY 4TH APRIL 2024 (14 mins):

A really good one — even though it basically sums up all the psyops, that Nov. 5th thing is going to be amazing:
X22 Report – EP 3321B – CYBER ATTACKS ATTEMPTS, ELECTION DAY, NOV 5TH, EVERYTHING IS A GO, BIGGEST DAY IN HISTORY (55 mins):
*************
Check this link in about an hour for a new album trailer from Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds!
************** Also from Nick Cave this morning — a new Red Hand File.
I thought it was kind of cool that, on the opening day of his art exhibit celebrating the life of the Devil in ceramics, he also sends out a Red Hand File all about Jesus Christ (well, in how it relates to the Wild God in his new song):
“These poignant scenes of a sad and wounded Jesus show his deeply human need for the love of his friends. Time and again he asks his disciples to believe in him, for what is a friend if not someone who believes in you….”
Jesus’ Final Week: A Post-Easter WrapUp (52 mins):
*************
And from Jeff Benner (link takes you to video – 11 mins.)–
“An investigation of the Hebrew words found in Genesis 1:27 and Exodus 20:7 to uncover the meaning behind the image of God and what it means to take his name in vain….
The Hebrew word אלהים (elohiym) is the plural form of אלוה (elo’ah) literally meaning “strength” and “power” and is usually translated as God or god….”

Also, if you’re a creative in the US and a member of the Copyright Alliance (it’s free to join), this should be a good seminar. April 23rd, online, 2-3:30 PM Eastern time:
….we will discuss how creators can meet their goals today while helping to ensure that tomorrow’s creative community is sustained through job growth, a strong creative economy, and continued growth of the arts, all of which are perpetuated through copyright protections. The event will be free and open to the public.”

And that is it for today.
Enjoy your Thursday, wherever you are in the world.
Thanks for visiting.
I love you guys. See ya!

Last night’s listening music. I love this song and I had forgotten about it!! It brought back such great memories of someone I totally, 100%, thoroughly loved, who died too soon.
From Mudcrutch’s first album (Tom Petty’s other band), “The Wrong Thing To Do”, 2008. Enjoy, gang!
“The Wrong Thing To Do”
Well, my daddy took me campin’ Out under the stars Left me by the fire While he hit the bars And I broke my finger On a trailer hitch Mamma called daddy That son of a bitch, all right
Well a hundred miles to go You draggin’ your ass I’m in a Japanese car That ain’t gonna last And you forever drivin’ On the wrong side of the road Wearing dungarees That your mother stole
Well my mamma loved me But my daddy don’t I’m tryin’ to work it all out But I probably won’t I got a woman waiting At the top of the stairs It’s the wrong thing to do But I don’t care
Well she was blond and tall She was 23 Born into the world To get the best of me And she never paid back Half what she stole She wanted my money So I gave her my soul
Well I was flying half mast On the 4th of July In a bar in Lake City With a western tie And I was thinkin’ hard About changin’ my name And headed for Miami When the daylight came
I know that a lot of folks (me, included) are really turned off by the nonstop battling “Truthers” these days, however, if you’re still following Phil, he’s planning to do a livestream this morning, starting at 9:30am eastern time.
I think it’s supposed to be about all the nationwide Internet outages yesterday and not necessarily “intel”. I’m not sure. You can confirm the live here.

And from Johnny Depp on Instagram! It looks like he was at some sort of tribute to the fantastic filmmaker, Tim Burton, in Italy yesterday. And below, Johnny is being very polite to the folks that invited him! (Although he’s not smoking so, I don’t know. Could be a psyop….)
**********
Nick Cave sent out a rather unexpected Red Hand File this morning, wherein he was very humble and polite to Brian, who might possibly have dealt, in some small way, with Nick Cave’s “sewerage” issues in NYC in the 90s!!
Yes! I am not even going to quote it here. You can read it for yourself!! But expect to read a little bit of shit about art…

And I think that’s it for now. I’ve got a ton of stuff to get to before I head into the train station!!
Have a SUPER Friday, wherever you are in the world.
Thanks for visiting.
I love you guys. See ya!

Listening-music to town and back!! The Best of Johnny Burnette & the Rock & Roll Trio!! I loved these guys, gang. Such great rockabilly. I absolutely love this song. It reminds me of my hellhole apartment in the East Village, NYC. I played this record a lot there. Play it loud, gang. Enjoy!
And here’s something else that reminds me of my hellhole apartment in the East Village in the 1980s!! I lived right around the corner from Life Cafe and I spent a ton of time there.
The warmer-weather-run broke last evening, but at least we still have sun and that’s a lot right there, gang.
Today, of course, is Sunday. The day that begins my real week, where I stare at all my many writing projects and try to figure out what the heck I’m doing! And, for the most part, I have a really great day.
As always, not much “news.” But if you are into natural healing, as I am, this could be of interest. (Dr. Cori Stern is truly knowledgeable about natural healing. I learn so much from her.)

In other news….
Nick Cave sent out a Red Hand File last evening, and it was another one of those fun ones, wherein he answers 50 questions with only a yes, no, or I don’t know.
One of my house guests officially turns 27 today. He works with me at the train station, so last night, after work, I took him to a new smoke/vape shop in town so that he could pick out some things for his birthday.
If you think I have any fucking CLUE what any of the stuff is that they sell in those smoke/vape shops, you’d be sadly mistaken. But it was very bright and clean and friendly in there. And my house guest discovered that they have the best prices in town.
Since I was the one buying him the items, when we pulled up to the store, I said, “Is it okay if I come in with you? They’re not going to think I’m your mother, are they?”
“Not unless I call you ‘mom’. Should I call you ‘mom”?”
ME: “NOOOOOO!!!!!”
Anyway. The vape/smoke shop was an interesting experience for me and he seemed really, really happy with his birthday gifts. (And, yes, marijuana was involved in the items he bought but they don’t resemble or smell like any kind of marijuana I have ever encountered in my entire life.)
(And when we got back to the house, his wife said to me, “By the way, those hemp rolling papers you gave us were really great. Where can we get some more of those?” So that comment right there kind of indicates that I’m not anyone’s mom….) (Oh, and also, I get the papers from the health food store I used to work at, but they come from HERE. Along with THIS, which is also really cool.)
This is what it looks like inside the new vape/smoke shop (photo courtesy of YELP) (and- YES- I was looking at the various loose-leaf tobacco products they sell before I reminded myself, quite firmly, that I DON’T SMOKE tobacco!!!! Aaaarrggggh…):
Other than that….
Have a great Sunday, wherever you are in the world!!
Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!!

Yes, our driving-home music from last night.
And, yes, I have posted this song here a lot, lately.
However, my driving companion/house guest just cracks me up. He loves this song, too, but has such a different reaction to it than I have. Last night, he said, “This is the perfect song to play at a Celebration of Life gathering.”
I said “Well, I guess it would be okay to play it at mine, but, well, I don’t know…”
Anyway.
Dick Dale & his Del-Tones, “Death of a Gremmie” (and FYI: a Gremmie is a young or inexperienced surfer.) Enjoy!!
Yes, my neighbors!! The two guys who cheerfully drive me town and back whenever I need them to!! I love them so much!!!
I only wish that they actually existed….
Anyway.
Yes. I’m off to town today, to run my usual errands.
The snow & ice are finally gone and temperatures are back to a very reasonable 40 degrees Fahrenheit. So I’m actually okay with making that 50-mile trip today.
I think I wrote 3 more paragraphs of ‘Novitiate” yesterday (the new erotic novella that takes place in the truly sinister summer of 1966). And then I spent the rest of the day, working on the screenplay adaptation for our play “The Guide to Being Fabulous.” (See post from Monday.)
But I have come to the conclusion that, for now, I have to focus strictly on the screenplay adaptation because we need to do that promo package ASAP, and I can’t easily switch gears between both projects. So, “Novitiate,” once again, has to go on the back burner for a few days.
Other than that–
This is sort of thought-provoking. A 4-minute look at the history of the Illuminati.

Here’s Charlie Ward’s daily news update.
CHARLIE WARD DAILY NEWS WITH PAUL BROOKER & DREW DEMI – WEDNESDAY 24TH JANUARY 2024 (13 mins):
********
It seems like, behind the scenes right now, lots of people, worldwide, are coming over to the side of the White Hats, and tons of other people are getting arrested now and taken to Gitmo.
I don’t always post them here, but here’s the latest arrest.
From Real Raw News yesterday:
“Marines Arrest Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly
[…] Kelly is a U.S. Marine who entered the political arena in 2017, serving as the 5th United States director of Homeland Security and, later, chief of staff between July 31, 2017, and January 2, 2019. Before that, he served as commander of U.S. Southern Command under Barack Hussein Obama, also known as Barry Soetoro. Kelly is a decorated Marine; he joined the Corps during the Vietnam War and quickly rose through the ranks, eventually serving as a four-star general in his last military post from 2012 to 2016. […]
Okay. Welcome to Wednesday. No more snow here but it is still very cold!!
For whatever reason, Charlie Ward’s “daily news” from yesterday, disappeared but then, indeed, reappeared.
I did find it an interesting update yesterday. I have no idea if something was edited out, because I didn’t re-listen to it, but here it is (17 mins):
CHARLIE WARD DAILY NEWS WITH PAUL BROOKER & DREW DEMI – TUESDAY16TH JANUARY 2024
And here is the “daily news” from this morning, which I didn’t find as interesting as yesterday’s. It’s mostly DAVOS stuff, which I believe is now fake (or as Charlie always says “it’s all pantomime”), but here it is–
CHARLIE WARD DAILY NEWS WITH PAUL BROOKER & DREW DEMI – WEDNESDAY 17TH JANUARY 2024 (13 mins):
**************
From Real Raw News yesterday:
“White Hats Confirm Lloyd Austin Killed in Ukraine
The White Hat coalition has confirmed that the criminal Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was killed in Ukraine on January 3 by a Russian cruise missile strike that annihilated a command post where Austin and a high-ranking Ukrainian military commander, Lieutenant General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, were scheming to overthrow Vladimir Putin, a source in General Eric M. Smith’s office told Real Raw News.
As reported on January 7, Russian FSB agent Andrei Zakharov told RRN that the criminal Biden regime’s claims about Austin being secretly hospitalized for a week were disinformation because Russian intelligence placed him in Kyiv at the time of his alleged hospitalization. He said 20 hypersonic cruise missiles destroyed a maze of subterranean chambers in which Austin and Zaluzhnyi plotted Putin’s demise. […]”

Okay. I found this amusing.
This is just some of the stuff I have to wade through in order to find “real news”…. Unbelievable amount of optics out there, even down to the prostitutes. From the Durden Dispatch this morning:
“ Escort Services “Completely Booked” As WEF Begins
“But anyone who wants to book an escort via matching platform “Titt4Tat” in the Davos region, or even in eastern Switzerland […]
[…] Demand for sex workers by business tycoons and world leaders surges during the five-day summit.
One escort named “Liana” told the German newspaper Bild that she dresses in business attire to blend into the crowd of elites while at the summit. She said her client is an American who attends the meeting. She charges 700 euros per hour and 2,300 euros for the whole night. […]”
(I wonder how many times she has to put out for that American guy in order to pay her rent? Just curious…)
*************
Anyway.
Apparently, the Hollywood Vampires are back in Hollywood, making a documentary about the band.
Yes, I love Johnny Depp, but I have never really liked the Hollywood Vampires. Mostly because I cannot comfortably get past their constant use of bats, skulls, and Nosferatu imagery. It really bothers me, even though I do not believe any of them are evil.
And I did really love their version of Jim Carroll’s song, “People Who Died” that I posted to the blog the other day. I bought the album and I now stream the song constantly. But the video was made at “Hellfest”. I knew that they played Hellfest, but I had zero interest in it. Subsequently, until the other day, I had no idea that amazing song came out on an album 6 years ago…
Anyway. From Instagram yesterday — Johnny, during the filming of the Hollywood Vampires documentary (and, yes, he is smoking, so this is verified!):
**********
And speaking of people I love who use imagery that I can’t stand!!!!
Nick Cave sent out a Red Hand File today , wherein he discusses how he feels about the various paths his life has taken. And he also talks about his new career as a ceramicist, mentioning the upcoming art exhibit in Brussels that I posted about here a couple weeks ago:
“During lockdown I woke one morning with a desire to make something in clay, a bright red devil to be precise, it was an entirely random impulse. Now, three years on, I have two assistants, Liv and Dom, helping me with the monumental task of glazing the figurines in preparation for an exhibition in Brussels….”
Have a wonder-filled Wednesday, wherever you are in the world!
Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!

I wonder if the Hollywood Vampires would ever do a version of this??? To be honest, if they did, I think they would come up with something unbelievably amazing!!
Yes! The enormous Christmas tree comes down today, and all the Christmas stuff gets boxed up and put away for another 11 months…
And then my writing life finally gets back to normal around here. I am ready for it!
It is always interesting to wonder about what will be going on the next time the Christmas tree goes up, though, isn’t it? I have no clue what will be happening in my life by Christmas 2024. But this past year, I have been so blessed.
I loved having houseguests here for Christmas — it was the first time I had people here for Christmas in the nearly 6 years that I’ve owned this home. And I felt truly blessed to be able to have a home to offer people in need (the wonderful young married couple currently abiding here with me). I am of course envisioning that they will find the perfect home for themselves and be able to move on to a truly wonderful phase of their lives together, and that Christmas 2024 will find them safe & happy and living a blessed life in a new home, whatever that home turns out to be.
As I keep getting older, and as Christmases (and Time, in general) keep passing, each of my Christmas memories become more and more precious to me. And 2023 is going to stand out as a truly remarkable one for me. I learned a lot about human nature and the Power and the Flow of turning everything over to God.
Okay.
Although I will miss my beautiful tree, it’s time to focus strictly on the writing again. So today is the day!
***************
We’re getting info from truthers hither & on, that NDAs are everywhere and there is NO INTEL to be had, and that we are getting “very, very close” — so I bought extra groceries at the store again today, gang.
And I bought a little extra non-perishable stuff and put it in the free food pantry over by the church. (Where anyone in the village can help themselves if they need food.) (I think I am the only person in the whole village who puts organic food in there. I am absolutely obsessed with food being organic, gang, and I guess I want to press my obsessions onto everyone else!!)
Oh! And guess what? For about two years now, I was the only person left in the village who still had a Trump flag displayed in front of my house. And last evening, I saw a house with a brand new “Trump in 2024” flag displayed on their house.
People are getting back in the game, gang. Even if we don’t end up having an election this year, I still like seeing those new flags coming out.
*********
This seemed like a very promising sign– even though Simon Parkes is one of those people overloaded with NDAs now and so he gives out very little information. However, he posted this yesterday:
I thought that was really incredible, gang. Television news exposure of Connecting Consciousness! I believe this is a first for CC and MSM.
Nevada CC Community Service Organisers Adella & Jonathan on Local TV Mornings on Fox 11 (3 mins). [watch it here]

Everything else in the truther movement has gotten really oppressive, gang. In my opinion. And also for my girlfriend here, who is my only friend following truthers and the Q movement — she has 99.9% given up on all this, too.
The nastiness between Phil and Nick never ceases now. I pray every day for Nick Alvear, that he will be protected by God and find his way into the light, that God will help him find his way to a higher vibration if that’s what is needed.
It’s really discouraging to me that people cannot be more like Simon Parkes — sue someone if they commit slander or libel and just move on. Not constantly draw attention to it and get everyone extremely riled up.
My girlfriend and I used to be avid Phil followers. But now we text each other to see if there is anything we need to know about, because neither one of us wants to contend with the onslaught of the Nick & Phil war.
This is the belief I personally follow on all of it; speaking solely for myself:
“39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. ” Matthew 5:39-48; KJV
And also, I love what Leo Tolstoy had to say about Jesus and Jesus’ view of courts & judgments, overall. (It is Tolstoy’s painstaking interpretation of the above Scripture.) It is very powerful, indeed. From Tolstoy’s What I Believe (8hrs. ):
**********
Okay.
Ross K. Nichols has begun another great new Shabbat series —
Birth of a Deliverer – Shemot (Exodus 1:1 – 6:1) (1 hr 20 mins):
And don’t forget James Tabor’s new series! I am really loving it. If you missed the most recent lecture, I’ll post it again:
Jesus Archaeology #3 A Forgotten City–the Urban World of Jesus (42 mins):

And Nick Cave sent out a Red Hand File that had some very interesting things to say about being an Australian living in England. Here is part of what he said:
“My generation of Australians are stereotypically loud and abrasive, our gestures are wider and take up more room, we are ruthlessly funny, unguarded, contrary and inappropriate, yet conversely conservative, stoic, compliant, fair and reasonable, and we love our mothers. What makes up the Australian character now I can’t claim to know—it’s been nearly fifty years since I lived there, and perhaps the whole notion of a national character has been brought into question — but I recognise the essential Australianness that was baked into me by a brash Victorian sun in almost everything I do, everything I create. […]
We have had a few dustings of snow, but nothing that accumulated. I am back to the flow of showing up at the train station 3 nights a week, and having a “real life” the rest of the time.
I am seriously looking forward to my career stuff in 2024!! I hope you are anticipating a sunny outlook for your life, too, wherever you are in the world!
Okay.
Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!!

I leave you with a gem from the late George Harrison – ”Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)” 1973. A song that is also a meditation. Enjoy.
Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)
Give me love Give me love Give me peace on earth Give me light Give me life Keep me free from birth Give me hope Help me cope with this heavy load Trying to touch and reach you with Heart and soul
Om My Lord Please take hold of my hand That I might understand you Won’t you please Oh, won’t you?
Give me love Give me love Give me peace on earth Give me light Give me life Keep me free from birth Give me hope Help me cope with this heavy load Trying to touch and reach you with Heart and soul
Om My Lord
Won’t you please Oh, won’t you?
Give me love Give me love Give me peace on earth Give me light Give me life Keep me free from birth Give me hope Help me cope with this heavy load Trying to touch and reach you with Heart and soul Give me love Give me love Give me peace on earth Give me light Give me life Keep me, keep me free from birth Now give me hope Help me cope with this heavy load Trying to touch and reach you with Heart and soul
I hope that everyone has an enjoyable New year’s Eve, however you spend it (or spent it — depending on where in the world you live!!).
Our plans here changed a bit. My houseguests are still here but our 3rd visitor, Michael, who spent Christmas with us, has to work tonight. So we will be having a very quiet New Year’ s Eve around here, which is the way I prefer it, really.
And the weather tonight will be a mix of rain and snow, which is horrible weather to be driving around in on New Year’s Eve.
I still have to run in to town today and get the groceries. but other than that, I’m planning on a really quiet and beautiful day/night.

I thought this series of posts (below) was very interesting — it delves deeper into the myth that “germs” are “contagious”. Another one of those Rockefeller myths that has fucked with our heads for decades.
(Loyal readers of this lofty blog perhaps recall that I knew — or I should say, I worked for and interacted with — several of the Rockefellers back in the 1980s, in NYC, because I worked at the Museum of Modern Art for 9 years. And they were always incredibly nice to me. Just unbelievably nice. (Just one example HERE of how nice some of them were). It is just dumbfounding to keep learning now about just how destructive that family was to every aspect of our lives in the 20th Century. Just amazingly evil and avaricious.)
(Oh, and for any of you who have read my novella, “Necessary to her Good,” the pied a terre in that story is based on the Rockefellers’ guest house on E. 52nd Street. It was jaw-dropping, even though it was somewhat small and only one story high. Designed by the famous architect, Philip Johnson. A true testament to Modernism. I will never forget the experience of being a bartender at a private party in that amazing place. I was 27. I was asked if I would like to be the bartender at a small gathering for Blanchette Rockefeller….I always said yes to invitations like that from MoMA, because it always led to things that blew my wee little mind.)
Rockefeller Guest House
Anyway. Okay! Wow! I digress!!
Germs. Contagion. Lack thereof!!
Matt Roeske – Are germs jumping all over? Ask questions my friends (1 hr)
I’ll tell you what, gang, after this past week of endless bashing among truthers and truther-followers — career-ending verbal warfare and vicious attacks that were really disappointing to me on all fronts — my “resolution” is to stop being “openminded and/or listening to anyone else’s viewpoint”. Well. Sort of…..
Honestly, it was almost uglier than everything we’re seeing on MSM, worldwide. And it was quite an onslaught and now it makes me not even want to open telegram. Although, I still do.
Even though I am still happily participating in Phil’s Silver with 7K, and I still have an account with Good Lion Films for now, I’m focusing, as I said the other day, on channels that focus on well-being for humans, plants, and animals… And then basically just waiting until the military and SCOTUS finally step in, publicly, and put a stop to all the ugliness all over the world, in all its many, many guises.
And on that topic of wellness — I am having a great time experimenting with changing the brightness and “true tone” levels on my iPhone and my laptop. Just that alone has made a huge difference in relieving the constant stress on my eyes. And I can’t wait for all my incandescent light bulbs to arrive later this week.
Okay.
That is it for now!!
Have a wonderful New Year’s Eve, wherever you are in the world!!
Thanks for visiting. I love you, guys. See ya!!

Driving to town music from yesterday!!!! Moody, to say the least… Rowland S. Howard’s “Dead Radio” from his album, Teenage Snuff Film, 1999.
Dead Radio
You’re bad for me like cigarettes But I haven’t sucked enough of you yet Nothing is sacred and nothing is true I’m no-one that’s nowhere when I’m here with you
I’ve lost the power I had to distinguish Between what to ignite and what to extinguish
I blew in last night, I’m the host from the coast When the lighting is bad, I’m the man with the most And you left me to choke on a heart up in smoke Smiling through your tears and your tetracycline overdose
You’re good for me like Coca-Cola I don’t get any younger, you don’t get any older Everything’s sacred and everything’s true And all this is possible when I’m here with you
I’ve got a lot to say, but I keep my own counsel I’d like to spit it out, but I won’t speak with my mouth full
I blew in last night, I’m the host from the coast When the lighting is bad, I’m the man with the most And you left me to choke on a heart up in smoke Smiling through your tears and your tetracycline overdose
Mainly – I survived!! Yay! Although, I did go up to my bed at 8PM, intending to watch some Christmas stuff on Amazon Prime for a few quiet moments, but what I actually did was fell dead asleep, immediately.
I picked up my final houseguest yesterday afternoon, and then helped them run some last minute errands. They wanted to “quickly run in ” to Walmart!!
ME: “Are you crazy???? It’s Christmas Eve!! It’s going to be a zoo!! Why don’t we just run into the Dollar Store near my house?”
THEM: “We can’t afford the Dollar Store! It’s too expensive!”
(Interesting statement, isn’t it? If you really look at it.)
Anyway, off to Walmart we went, on Christmas Eve afternoon…
I waited in the car in the quite full parking lot, while they shopped for last minute snacks, cat food, etc. As everyone knows, I am absolutely opposed to the sheer existence of Walmart, so that’s why I didn’t go in. And as they scrambled out of the car, I emphatically made the sign of the cross with my fingers, to keep all the Walmart human-trafficking-demon spirits away from all of us…
Anyway! They made it out unscathed. And I swear to you, the backseat was full, the hatchback was full! Enough beer, wine, snacks, and actual food that will be part of Christmas dinner was practically overflowing from the car, even though the refrigerator at home, and the kitchen table, were already overflowing with stuff for Christmas.
And then, halfway home, I said: “Oh shit!! I’ve been so focused on Christmas Dinner, that I don’t have anything to make for us for dinner tonight!!!”
It was too funny. But I managed to pull together an (organic) frozen pizza from my freezer. made some (organic) linguine with (organic) pesto rosso that I had in the cupboard, which were not yet past their expiration date, and God knows, there was plenty of wine and beer on hand for my guests… So, honestly, it actually turned out simple but amazing.
And then, very quietly, I said to Michael: “I was thinking I wanted to go take a quick walk and look at all the Christmas decorations, because I haven’t had time to see any yet. Do you want to come with me? Just a quick walk around the block?”
Well, not only did he say “yes,” but then everybody said yes and so off we went! And it was so fun. but that quick walk around the block turned into a one-hour walk, wherein we checked out the Christmas lights of practically every house in the entire village!!
They, of course, were buzzing and I was completely sober, but we laughed a lot and had so much fun. However, loyal readers of this lofty blog know that, nowadays, I have some problems with my legs, so I was quietly thinking: holy shit, what have I gotten myself into?— when we weren’t even half-way done with our quick walk.
But I hung in there and we really did have a great time.
And they were up all night in the kitchen, drinking, smoking, cooking — getting things ready for tonight’s dinner. (And, btw, my cheesecake looks perfect. Here’s hoping it will taste perfect!)
And I quietly came downstairs to the kitchen at my usual 5:30AM, to feed my many cats and also myself, and put a pot of coffee on — and all their dishes and pots and pans were washed and put away. And little Christmas nightlights had been left on, which made the kitchen look so peaceful in the dark.
And Kon Tiki of the Great Outdoors was sitting on the kitchen counter, looking out the window at the bright moon shining down through a mist on the dark yard… Kon Tiki usually likes to be outside all night, but she really gets along with my houseguests, so obviously, she had come inside to hang out with them while they were cooking, and I found that so sweet.
So, today is all about getting the rest of the food ready and setting the table for Christmas dinner and then, of course, sitting down to eat. I will probably have a thimble-full of wine and maybe a drop of cognac with dessert, but I’m doubtful that I can even handle that, but we’ll see!!

Okay, regarding the “news”–
The situation between Phil and Nick at Good Lion Films got really out of hand yesterday. Just unbelievable. Like a pack of wolves, really. I did end up leaving the Good Lion telegram channel, primarily because a lot of the posts there go off in directions that don’t appeal to me anyway. But I gave it a lot of thought, and I perused the Good Lion Films & TV app again this morning, and I decided that I want to keep it. At least for a while. I really do value the documentaries that Good Lion has made over the years.
Regarding Total Disclosure’s claims that Nick “steals everything”, well, I just don’t know. He is always upfront about saying that his work is gathered from sources that are all over the Internet, or based on books, or the research that is also done by other people. So, for now, I’m keeping my account.
So we’ll see.

And this was posted by Dr. Reiner Fuellmich’s people — a downloadable pdf with his Defense’s official press release.
Very interesting — the “charges” he’s being held in prison over. Is this a psy-op, or what?? Amazing that they are keeping him in prison over stuff like this.
“Many thanks to all donators, many thanks to all people who continue to trust in Reiner and many thanks to all those who continue to stand tall and still fight for truth and justice. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a New Year that will hopefully bring the changes we have all been fighting for so long. Thank you for standing with us.
Gisela, on behalf of Reiner and the whole ICIC-Team. ❤️🙏”

In closing news —
Nick Cave sent out a very entertaining Red Hand File this morning, wherein he answered many questions with a single “yes,” “no,” or “I don’t know”.
For instance:
“I’ve just seen a clip of Pink (the acclaimed singer) flying over her audience on wires, performing many acrobatic moves? Have you ever thought of doing such a thing during a Bad Seeds concert?
No.”
And also this:
“What’s the point of living if free will is an illusion?
I don’t know.”
And there was also this — and no (!!), I was not the woman who asked this question!! Everyone knows that I am way, way, way past menopause…
“Will you come and live with me in my house in the woods so I can have your babies?
Life is still a little topsy-turvy here, gang. The weekend at the train station just about killed me. Wow, were we busy. It was really just off-the-charts. Everybody in town was looking for a reason to get the holiday spirit underway.
I am recovering from complete exhaustion and “collapse-ation” — a new word, which implies that I collapsed but managed to get back up!
We might get the Christmas decorations up around here today (!!), but I’m leaning toward seriously doubting it. (I have some houseguests here now indefinitely, and they are trying to get their lives settled in, too.)
Anyway. Here I am.
Phil did do a live Q &A on Friday. If you missed it, here is the replay (1hr 38 mins):
And, best news yet — Phil just posted that Trump will be back in office sooner than anticipated and that something happened since his last live.
“Shane was blessed with an uncommon spirit of goodness and a deep sense of what is true, which was strangely amplified in his brokenness, his humanness. We can say of him most certainly, ‘he was beloved on the earth,’ and Sinéad too — truly beloved and greatly missed, both.”
Well, I am home alone today for Thanksgiving. Primarily, because I coughed all night and got no sleep and I continue to be exhausted. But, as fate would have it, my dad is in really bad shape this morning with a blocked catheter, and would not have wanted me to come. The nurse is there with him now.
I feel bad for my stepsister and her family — they drove 9 hours from Alabama yesterday. But they will be there for a few days. Hopefully my dad will get a little better as the day progresses.
Anyway. Happy Thanksgiving, gang, however you spend it or honor it. I have some amazing Thanksgiving memories from my wee bonny girlhood in Cleveland, so that will have to suffice for me today.
If you missed Phil’s livestream last night, it was a very nice one. Mostly , it was really enjoyable to just have him back. The intel he had last night is already unfolding this morning. So check his channel, and also watch the replay if you missed it last night (1 hr 20 mins):
General Flynn had a nice Thanksgiving letter. You can read it in full here, but I particularly liked this part:
“[…] President Abraham Lincoln, after the victorious but very difficult Battle of Gettysburg displayed the cost of war along with apparent insurmountable odds, who proclaimed the last Thursday of November to be set aside as a day to reflect on the sacrifices of Gettysburg, and of all previous wars, as a “day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father.” President Lincoln wanted Americans to reflect on the tender care we must offer to those who have gone before us and to those who suffer because of the consequences of war. Thanksgiving is a reminder, despite the challenges we now face, there is a fruitful bounty in our lives that we must all reflect upon while we enjoy each other’s company and offer thanks for this still plentiful nation that remains the freest, most abundant on earth […]”

Simon Parkes had a nice video of Putin walking down a flight of airplane stairs in a blizzard (30 seconds). (The meaning, of course, is that Biden is always falling down…)

I hate to spring a pop quiz on you when it’s a holiday, however….
How do we know this gorgeous creature is really Johnny Depp? (Select only one answer please):
A. Because he is smoking
B. Because he is smoking
(Good luck, everyone!!)

Okay, so Black Friday sales are bombarding us all over the place, aren’t they???
I saved a fortune on supplements yesterday at various online outlets, so that was nice.
I also purchased a couple things from the Manhattan Repertory Theater — a new eBook, The 10 Principles of Playwrighting by Ken Wolf ($7 Amazon Kindle) — because I am still tweaking my play, Tell My Bones: The Helen LaFrance Story.
I have 5 months to use the consultation, so that gives me a nice deadline to tweak the play.
I did NOT get the Tom Petty Christmas coffee mug because shipping charges were off-the-charts insane.
I didn’t get the Keith Richards tee shirt, either. I’m holding out for a better photo on the shirt. I tell you, gang, I had the BEST Keith Richards tee shirt in the 1980s, and none of the newer ones hold a candle to that one. So I’m waiting…
(It was not this photo, but it was from this photo shoot, and the shirt was in black, white and yellow. And I had cut the sleeves off, because back then, for some reason, we cut the sleeves off of our tee shirts — you can see that with Keith’s shirt in the photo below. And the tee shirt I had looked incredible with black Levis.)
(I remember one spring day in 1985, wearing the tee shirt and a pair of black Levis and black cowboy boots; walking along St. Mark’s Place with the punk-rock bassist now known as Blare N. Bitch, who was the love of my life at that point. She and I were both smoking our cigarettes, both had our de rigueur crazy 1980s hair. I was good-naturedly asking her not to leave me, not to go back to her sig o, and to just let me be the most important thing in her world for at least an afternoon, and she was chuckling and some guy came up to me on the street and said, “I love your tee shirt”…. That’s the kind of Keith Richards tee shirt I want to own again.)
(BELOW: The bassist now known as Blare N. Bitch in my room at about 3AM in 1985. Note these things: Many photos of Keith taped to my wall, along with other people. The ashtray on the bed — you always want to do that, gang, because beds are super flammable. The Lou Reed cassette tape for New Sensations. I LOVED that album!!)

Okay!
Nick Cave sent out another very interesting Red Hand File this morning!! Wherein, he encourages us to embrace yet another much-needed “cultural irritant.”
Personally, I have more cultural irritants than I can handle. So I’m gonna pass on this one. But I loved what he had to say about his own Christianity.
“The defining characteristic of my belief, and which I consider to be a fundamental imperative in my life, is uncertainty. This questioning impulse is the essence of freedom and the creative catalyst that keeps the wheels rotating irrevocably toward God….”
