Here comes Wednesday!’

Okay, gang. There really is not much at all going on, except that the markets are way into the red. But it seems like we are all simply just waiting…

I actually managed to get some Christmas decorations up yesterday and, today, I am putting up the tree!!! So that is what I will finally be doing today.

If anything of interest happens, I will come back here and post it. Otherwise, have a wonder-filled Wednesday, wherever you are in the world!!!

Oh!!! I almost forgot!!

Thank you to everyone who is visiting my free substack. 1000 readers in the first 45 days!!! Thanks, everyone!!!❤️❤️❤️

And thanks for visiting here today.

I love you guys. See ya!!

Another great cover by Tom Jones!!!!! Enjoy, gang!

Curious update!

Phil just re-posted this from Midnight Rider Channel:

“Insurrection Act Supersedes Posse Comitatus as Legal Basis for President Trump to Restore Order in 2nd Term”

And still no intel on what it was that happened that is allegedly bringing Trump back “sooner” than anticipated, but Phil had a short video update about it yesterday. Link is HERE in case you didn’t see it.

I’m seriously over trying to create a link to my zazzle merch store that actually works, so what I did was create a merch page here on the blog, with each individual product. It’s in the menu, under “About Marilyn Jaye Lewis” — here is the direct link.

The Cyber Monday sale prices are over, though.

********

I still have not had the mental or emotional energy to get all the Christmas stuff out of the storage closet yet. I’m working on it, though.

The more I don’t do it, the more stressed I get. And the more stressed I get, the less I feel like doing it…

*******

Okay. That’s really it for now. If something happens, I will be back here later and I will post it!!

Have a terrific Tuesday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!

Music to stress-out-and-not-put-the-tree-up by!

Iggy Pop – Blah-Blah-Blah – 1986

Just in time for Christmas!!

I know you were giving up hope, gang, however….

My zazzle store has actually launched!!! And as luck would have it, they are having a Cyber Monday sale today, so everything is 50% off!!! (Although, I have to say, that the shipping charges over there are really insane. But anyway…)

I’m guessing you know TONS of people who want these playing cards for Christmas!! (Do NOT give them to anyone who has NOT already read this filthy dirty wonderful book!! They will NOT be amused and/or they will think you have your filthy mind seriously in the gutter…)

$5.43 plus shipping, only for Cyber Monday

And there are 14 coffee mugs to choose from!! Here are a couple:

Basically, any book I authored myself — meaning not the collections I edited — now has a companion coffee mug!!! I cannot imagine what could be better than that!!!

*********

Okay, that’s actually it for right now, gang.

If anything comes up later, I will be back!!

Enjoy your Monday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!!

Just some happy music for this happy Zazzle store Monday! Enjoy!!!

Stopping by for a quick update!

Life is still a little topsy-turvy here, gang. The weekend at the train station just about killed me. Wow, were we busy. It was really just off-the-charts. Everybody in town was looking for a reason to get the holiday spirit underway.

I am recovering from complete exhaustion and “collapse-ation” — a new word, which implies that I collapsed but managed to get back up!

We might get the Christmas decorations up around here today (!!), but I’m leaning toward seriously doubting it. (I have some houseguests here now indefinitely, and they are trying to get their lives settled in, too.)

Anyway. Here I am.

Phil did do a live Q &A on Friday. If you missed it, here is the replay (1hr 38 mins):

And, best news yet — Phil just posted that Trump will be back in office sooner than anticipated and that something happened since his last live.

Check Phil’s channel for updates!!

Nick Cave sent out a really beautiful Red Hand File the other day, regarding the death of Shane MacGowan. He said, in part:

Shane was blessed with an uncommon spirit of goodness and a deep sense of what is true, which was strangely amplified in his brokenness, his humanness. We can say of him most certainly, ‘he was beloved on the earth,’ and Sinéad too — truly beloved and greatly missed, both.”

You can read it in full here.

That’s it for now.

Stay safe, everybody, and have a good Sunday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!

My mood this morning. All things beautiful from my life in the 80s…

Mink DeVille – Just To Walk That Little Girl Home (1980)

Okay! Just Touching Base!

I might not be able to post here for the next couple days. I have some houseguests moving in later today, staying for an extended period.

And the next 2 nights at the train station are supposed to be very busy — holiday wine tastings and festive Christmas stuff, and also later hours.

Then, I think on Sunday, we will get all the Christmas decorations up around here.

And so I am guessing I will be sort of exhausted. We will see! (Funny, how one minute, you’re only 12, and the next minute, you’re actually 63…)

Although, I did get a great compliment yesterday! From a woman who is younger than me. She asked me how I keep my skin looking so young!! Wow. Thank you. It is a combination of a few things. One, I no longer wear makeup. Just mascara, once in a while. I drink a lot of filtered water. But mostly, I swear by these two things everyday!! They are awesome, seriously:

Okay.

I really only saw one thing that interested me today.

From sputnik_africa:

“🌍 What is Common African Position on Asset Recovery Adopted by African Union?

On Friday, the African Union reportedly adopted the Common Africa Position on Asset Recovery (CAPAR) aimed at returning assets to the continent.

Sputnik Africa explains the nature of the mechanism, the steps it envisages, and why it is crucial for the continent’s development.

It is now possible for stolen money from Africa and stashed in the foreign banks to be recovered,” Charity Nchimunya, the executive secretary of the AU Advisory Board Against Corruption, said.”

************

That’s really interesting, isn’t it, gang?

It doesn’t mean that there wasn’t lots more “news” out there today, it just means that this item was the only thing that struck me as really saying something concrete.

************

Okay.

Phil did not do his livestream yesterday. He has no date set for when he will do it, which only means that a lot is going on behind the scenes, as usual. So we just have to sit tight.

************

That is it. I gotta get stuff done around here!!

Enjoy your Friday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

More beautiful stuff from The Pogues that I listened to a hundred times while driving to work yesterday, feeling really sort of wistful and sad, gang. Where the hell did it all go? It was such a hard life back then, but we were so fucking ALIVE. Anyway, listen. Enjoy. Take care of yourselves out there.

“Dirty Old Town,” 1985. From Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash.

Good news, we hope!

You probably already saw this everywhere, so why not here, too??

From Real Raw News:

JAG Arrests Stephen Colbert

JAG’s new detainment center on Guam will soon have its first detainee: Trump-hating, vaccine-loving, liberal talk show host Stephen Colbert, host of CBS’s Late Night with Stephen Colbert. […]

Colbert, whose eponymous show is seen by 3.9m viewers nightly, is widely viewed as the second most liberal talk show host in the country—Jimmy Kimmel takes top honors. Colbert’s chumminess with top Democrats is legendary. In June 2021, he stoked what Joe Rogan called “mass psychosis” for a skit that featured a dance troupe dressed as vaccine syringes and, in October 2022, joined a Fauci body double (the real Fauci was hanged in April 2022) at a Walgreens for fresh booster shots on live television. Since the plandemic’s inception, Colbert dedicated over 1,750 show hours advocating for clot shots he had never received. […]

And if you have a strong stomach, please watch THIS. It will make you sick, but at least you’ll understand why everyone in the Q movement is excited about Colbert’s alleged arrest…

From Nick at Goodliontv (link includes a free 31-minute episode of Pervywood)–

Really creepy updates coming out of Dublin, Ireland.

Tucker and Steve Bannon — STEVE BANNON EXPLAINS: EP. 41 DUBLIN IN FLAMES. WHAT’S HAPPENING IN IRELAND WILL HAPPEN HERE (23 mins):

And from Yellowvest Ireland — Conor McGregor had some really intense things to say about the stabbings and riots, including that the little 5-year-old girl who was stabbed & in the hospital, is actually already dead, and only “surviving” on a ventilator. — (video in link)–

Another good telegram channel that seems to be worth following:

sputnik_africa

From today:

“🇸🇱 A “failed coup attempt” took place in Sierra Leone, authorities say

The aim of the clashes that occurred 2 days ago was to “overthrow a democratically elected government”, said the Sierra Leonean Minister of Information.

Here is what happened:

🔺 The violence took place early in the morning on November 26. Attackers attempted to break into the military armory of a barracks near Freetown. The attacks were repelled.

🔺 On the same day, the central prison, another penitentiary establishment and two police stations were stormed, around 2,000 prisoners escaped.

🔺 Following this, the curfew was declared. Currently, it is in effect from 9 pm to 6 am nationwide.

🔺 More than 20 people lost their lives, according to the authorities. The attackers are currently being sought.”

And also this:

🇷🇺🇿🇦 Russia-South Africa trade increases by 30% in 10 months, Russia’s deputy agriculture minister says

[…] Deputy Minister Levin highlighted that an impressive 72% of trade between South Africa and Russia is attributed to South Africa’s food supplies. Additionally, he noted a remarkable 15% increase in Russia’s imports of agricultural products from South Africa this year.”

[Can anyone say BRICS ??]

Okay, you gotta see this!!!

When I first moved to NYC in 1980, the guitar I brought with me was a Harmony acoustic. I played that in the clubs for a few years, until the musicians who played onstage with me said: “Please! You gotta get a better guitar, Marilyn!” And so I did.

Meanwhile. Here’s a photo of Keith from a long time ago!!!! It’s an electric guitar, but check out the brand:

And I think that’s it for today.

Enjoy your Wednesday, wherever you are in the world!

Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!

I leave you with this!!

I play this song a lot, gang and the older I get, the more I fucking LOVE it. Enjoy!! (PS: check out the real Paul; his profile speaks volumes…)

Road Trip!

Okay, gang. I really, really rested yesterday. And I slept 8 straight hours last night without coughing once!

So, assuming my dad is reasonably all right this morning, I am heading down to see him in just a few minutes.

There is not much I want to post about, except a couple of items on Putin, I will do that tomorrow.

Meanwhile, have a terrific Tuesday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting. I love you guys. See ya!

From the traveling playlist for today! Remember summer???? I sure do! Enjoy🥰

Be Prepared, Please!

If you don’t follow Phil’s channel, please be prepared for extreme banking issues in Europe and the US, beginning this weekend, and perhaps getting progressively worse as the week goes on. Ending with election-fraud news perhaps hitting the Internet by Friday.

The banking issues intensified yesterday, in Spain, Switzerland, and here in the US and also here.

Meanwhile, gold & silver are climbing. I decided to buy more silver this morning, leaving only enough in my bank account to pay my bills.

I don’t have a lot of money, gang, not by any stretch of the imagination, but even I can invest in fractional silver and silver Eagles. (7Kmetals.com) So please consider it ASAP, if you aren’t already doing it.

**********

Well, Monday is the day I go down to see my dad for “Thanksgiving”. I am planning to not cough the entire time I’m there! But of course, now I want to try to get him to the grocery store while I’m down there (see Phil’s post), just to make sure my 93-year-old, terminally ill dad has non-perishables on hand.

In the place where he lives, there is a dining hall that feeds everybody. But I am panicking a little, and I said, “But, Dad, what if the kitchen workers can’t get to work for several days, or what if food becomes a little scarce and they can’t feed all of you?”

Yes! My dad started panicking, too! “What are you talking about? Why would something like that happen?”

“Because Trump really won the election in 2020.”

“I know he did, but why does that mean I won’t have any food?”

“Because there might be some form of Martial Law, keeping everyone at home for a few days.”

“Martial Law??!! But this is the United States of America! We’ve never had Martial Law. You’re scaring me!”

Yes! Being related to me has many, many joyful moments. (That wasn’t one of them, but there was one, back in the summer of 1972…)

So, anyway. Yes, I upset my dad but I didn’t mean to. But I still want to make sure he has non-perishables in his room. So I’m going to try to get him to Aldi’s on Monday, wheelchair and all.

I’m not feeling 100% hopeful, but we’ll see.

Anyway, gang. Please make sure you are stocked up with groceries this week, just in case any bank runs collide with your local food supply.

From UKR Leaks this morning — includes short video interview:

The leader of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, gave an interesting interview the day before

He confirmed that the conflict in Ukraine could have ended last spring. They just had to choose neutrality.

Russia’s goal was to put pressure on us so that we would accept neutrality. This was the main thing for them: they were ready to end the war if we accepted neutrality, like Finland once did. And we would give an obligation that we would not join NATO. This was the main thing,’ – he admitted.

But then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson came to Kiev and forbade signing an agreement with Russia. He said ‘let’s just fight.'”

**********

This was interesting, too. Posted on Goodliontv — more cool old film footage from beyond the ice walls (1 minute video):

“They want us to think the earth is limited… when in fact it’s boundless.”

Okay, I think that’s it for now.

Have a good Saturday, wherever you are in the world. Stay safe!

I know it seems hard to believe, but this was my driving-to-town-listening music (on repeat for 25 miles) from yesterday!! Yes, play it LOUD and drive about 95 mph on the deserted freeway in the middle of nowhere because you’re running late! Enjoy!
