And yet again, I discover, by way of an online obituary, that another one of my friends is dead. This is the 4th time this has happened to me in the past 2 months.

Heavy sigh.

This was someone I used to run around with back in my folksinging days in NYC. We were a very frisky duo — but not “onstage” and that was not common knowledge!! It was always completely off-the-record whenever we got together.

Anyway, we were like two peas in a pod, we really were. He was 15 years older than me. He was born & raised in Malawi, in Africa, and I of course, was from Ohio, yet our temperaments were the same. Our minds seemed to work the same way, etc. He was on the road constantly back then, but I really loved hanging out with him whenever he was back in the city.
