Are you guys old enough to remember this song?? It was a huge hit in 1974 and I’d forgotten all about it.
I loved this song, primarily because it came out when The Exorcist was hugely popular. I read the book when I was just about 14 years old, and it terrified me. It gave me horrible nightmares, too. This song was a huge comfort to me. I bought the 45 single and played it constantly on my little record player in my room.
And next, I just want to post a little about RKF Jr.
I’m not sure why I thought the rally was tonight. It was last night. And it was incredible. The entire rally was, but especially when Bobby Kennedy came out as the hoped-for “special guest.”
If you missed that moment when he came out on that stage, it was just one of the most amazing things I’ve witnessed in decades.

And so all of this is really great, and doesn’t really surprise me at all, since I have been under the impression that RFK Jr was a positive psyop, put in place to help wake up the voters who absolutely can’t tolerate Trump but who didn’t yet understand what had actually become of the so-called “Democrats” (of which I was a member until the horrific regime of Obama & Killary began to become clear).

Which brings us to the Unity Party — allegedly a new political party that Bobby is forming right now, with the help of Trump. (?)

If you live in a blue state, you can vote for me without harming or helping President Trump or Vice President Harris. In red states, the same will apply. I encourage you to vote for me.

I’m a little unclear on the Unity Party idea — is this an actual party being formed? — although from Trump’s speech last night, it is clear that RFK Jr will be part of the Trump Administration in a very important way — primarily in helping to stop chronic illness, to stop Big Pharma and Big AG, to stop poisonous vaxxes in children, and getting to the bottom, publicly, of what really happened to JFK.
When you factor in, though, that something huge is still upcoming for Israel (likely from Putin) in September; and that Trump will allegedly be found guilty of ten trillion felonies and sent to Ryker’s Island, where, supposedly, his cell is all ready and waiting for him; and we still need to hear from SCOTUS about their ruling on the rigged 2020….then the EBS, the military, the tribunals, no actual election in November, etc.
So who can really come to any sort of clear understanding about what is really going on regarding a Unity Party, but it was still an incredible rally and it really does feel like the end to this war is finally in sight.

And in addition to the spectacular news from last night — about Sandra being nominated for Outstanding Female in a Musical 2024, in Toronto, for our play, “The Guide to being Fabulous”– the other good news is that I’ve been awake now for 3 1/2 hours and so far, only ONE flea has adhered itself to me!!
Tomorrow the all-natural, essential oil “flea bombs” arrive and I am expecting great things from those!!

Today, I’m making a quick trip into town as soon as the weather clears. And then this afternoon, I should have the staged reading version of our play, “The Guide to being Fabulous,” ready to send back to Sandra so that she can take it with her to NYC when she starts rehearsals for the new play she is in at Playwrights Horizons, beginning September 3rd (!!!) (Everything is moving so quickly!!)
Other than that, gang, it has gotten to the point now where I am constantly in a state of PTSD. It is almost unbearable but I am somehow hanging in there.
I am still grieving over my dad’s dying In April, trying to process that. Then the tornado hit and destroyed half of our village. Then a homeless black cat who was on death’s door from the tornado, showed up on my porch starving to death and covered in sores and flies, and I have actually nursed him back to complete health (but he made cat #14 at the time). Then the fleas hit and completely took over my home. Then my beloved little cat, Lucy, died from the fleas. Then one of the foster cats almost died and almost lost an eye due to flea meds, but I nursed her back to complete health with colloidal silver and milk thistle and I saved her eye. Then I was being treated so disrespectfully at the train station by that new manager that I finally had no other choice but to quit…even though I was up to my eyeballs with cats and fleas and deadlines for the movie adaptation and the play and wasn’t really in the best frame of mind to look for work.
I am comfortable with the prospects for a new part-time job, though. I will post more about it when I know something concrete.
But other than that, I am stressed to the maximum around here and living in a constant state of mild terror. It has been the worst summer I’ve had in a really, really long time.
But, yesterday, there were these two things that cheered me considerably:

Just another one of those delightful mornings where I suddenly had to drop everything and vacuum the entire house.
I still have at least one, if not two of the feral cats, who are battling fleas. So, as soon as I see a flea, out comes the vacuum cleaner again.
But the best thing happened yesterday regarding all this. The little cats that I’m fostering, no longer have fleas. But my rescued ferals are harder to manage since they are feral and I can’t touch them. Even though they have lived with me their entire lives. (12 years.)
Plus, since they are getting older now, oral flea meds have terrible side effects for them.
Well, I found an amazing online vet yesterday through a virtual veterinary clinic in Ohio. (I can’t take the ferals to a physical vet because they will attack everyone and it suddenly occurred to me to try a virtual vet.) She was right up my alley, since she prefers all-natural approaches whenever possible. I didn’t know this about her when I booked the appointment, but wow was I relieved when the appointment finally got underway. She was incredible. Plus, she was very knowledgeable about feral cats.
So now I have a manageable game plan for dealing with the fleas on the ferals. Involving first, sedating them with organic CBD oil, then giving them Advantage topical flea killer, then using all-natural essential oil “flea bombs” to finally kill the fleas all over the house. And then next Spring, use all-natural nematodes to spray on the lawn, to naturally kill fleas and ticks outside all summer.
I can’t tell you what a relief this is to me. I tried a small drop of CBD oil in their wet food this morning and all of them are tolerating CBD really well.
