Yesterday ended just as gloriously as it started out, gang. Weather-wise! It was such a beautiful evening here in the Hinterlands.
I finally finished both the updated résumé and new bio for Sandra and got it off to her around 4PM. And finally had everything off my plate — for a little while, anyway.
And what a beautiful feeling.
During dinner last night, I watched a really cool episode of The Avengers, from 1964 (Honor Blackman as Mrs. Gale — the Emma Peele character was not in the series yet.) (Honor Blackman is also famous for having played “Pussy Galore” in the James Bond movie, Goldfinger, and “Honey West” on TV!)

Anyway. I digress.
After dinner, I did yoga, took my shower, did one of the lessons in the online course I’m studying (again) on the Book of Genesis.
And then, at 9PM, when Phil’s livestream did not come on, I did something I’ve been wanting to do all summer!!
I sat out on my kitchen porch, with my Maine Coon cat, Kon Tiki of the Great Outdoors, and a visiting neighbor cat — that I call Ginger Boy. And I watched the sun go down, and watched all the fireflies blinking like crazy for as far as the eye could see. Listened to the birds singing, as they settled in for the night.
And, with nary a mosquito bothering me at all — I ate a Jonny Pop organic watermelon popsicle and just had the very best evening.
I had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO!!!! Nothing, zippo, zero, nada. Wow.
And when I went in for the night, I watched two more episodes of Yogi Bear from Season 4, followed by an utterly ridiculous episode of Huckleberry Hound!! And then I turned everything off and just listened to the night outside my open windows.

And I thought: It’s just we old people who even remember that Water Beds & Stuff exists… And I wondered if he was going in there to buy organic tobacco leaves…

But because we were talking more than working yesterday, tomorrow will be an intense work day for us instead. And of course, tomorrow, the weather will be stunning! When I won’t have time to go out and do some much-needed gardening that I was hoping to do today…

And last night, in connection with re-visiting the first few chapters of Genesis, I listened to a very well read audiobook on LibriVox of Sir E.A. Wallis Budge’s scholarly account: The Babylonian Study of the Deluge as Told by Assyrian Tablets from Nineveh; and The Epic of Gilgamesh.
In it, you can compare the historical accounts of the much earlier flood with the story of Noah that is told in Genesis — among other things.

And then the early happy morning in Crazeysburg commenced from there…

I am somehow up to my eyeballs again in rewrites today.
You probably think this is the longest play in history, but actually, the final version will only run 1 hour and 15 minutes, including songs, with no intermission. But that is part of the problem — trying to trim it way down without losing the actual storyline or any of the (great) songs.
But we’re getting there!!
Anyway, it is another really lovely day here, and I enjoy sitting at my desk when the world outside my many windows is so beautiful.
Plus, it’s “Old Home” week in Crazeysburg. It’s not really called that — but it’s the time of year when people who used to live here come home and have a reunion with the 14 people who still live here, and there is a carnival, and food stands, and live music.
It all happens one block from my house, and they close down 2nd Street, so all the “traffic” gets re-routed onto my street (1st Street). I use that word “traffic” lightly. At any given time of the day or night, there is usually maybe one car or pickup truck driving past my house. Usually, actually, there are none.
But this is the week, when 5 or 6 or sometimes 9 cars or pickup trucks might drive past at the same time. So it gets lively!! Especially in the evenings. Seriously, though, everyone in the village is in a really festive mood right now.
I love this photo from 1910. It is of our old Methodist church, which is still there — across the street from the new Methodist church. Someone bought it recently and turned it into a private home. but this building is also one block away from me. The village is 200 years old.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I loved Ronnie when he was in the Faces, but the Stones were my absolute favorite band and so I was thrilled when he joined the Rolling Stones — and I was able to see him play with them in Cleveland, during their tour of the States in 1975. (And I was very close to the stage!!)

If you recall, several weeks ago, a co-worker had some serious water damage done to her home, which caused serious electrical damage on top of it. And she had to move into a 2-room trailer with her very pregnant sister and 2 toddlers. So her two cats were getting seriously underfoot.
The 2 cats came to live with me until their home is ready to move back into. (About 3 more weeks or so.)
These wonderful boy cats were very terribly abused as kittens. My co-worker rescued them when they were 3 weeks old and had been discarded in a dumpster (with horrible stuff done to their tiny faces).
They are grown now, and are healthy, happy cats. However, one of the cats, Indy, does not like to be around people so he stays up in my storage closet and only comes out at night, when I’m asleep.
But Al immediately became my very best friend!! What a great companion he is. The only problem is that he fights with every single one of my other cats — including the two cats outdoors, if he can escape fast enough and get out the kitchen door when I’m coming in!
That aside, I adore this little guy. Here he is this morning, on my bed, as the sun was coming up and I was having my coffee:
My ex-husband, Wayne, turned 69 years old today! I’m not sure how that happened, either, but it did! He was 38 when we met…
We spoke briefly on the phone this morning and he told me some incredibly disgusting but very very funny jokes! Happy Birthday, Wayne.

As always, there is not much that is publicly happening, gang. The only things that are public are big bunches of psy-ops and unbelievable noise.
Simon Parkes had an interesting update over the weekend. I can’t embed the video because now you have to join Connecting Consciousness in order to watch his updates. (Joining is free, though.)
But he said some very curious things — one of which was that perhaps the White Hats want us all to disengage now and go back to our lives. Since there is basically no intel and everything important is happening behind the scenes. And all of these optics are just too much for us to sort through or make sense of.
He did emphasize, though (as Phil also does), that we are near the end of all of this and that the outcome is going to be very good. And that we are very close to reaching that “92% of people being awake” now.
Meanwhile…
It has given me a lot to think about.
For me, disengaging doesn’t mean I would stop following the few truthers who are left who are of any interest to me anymore. But it would mean that I would stop posting to the blog about it.
And all of that thinking got me to the conclusion that I am going to stop now. I’ve posted enough here over the last 3 years that leads everyone to the non-MSM news sources if they want to follow them.
And I have a few key things in my private life now that I want to devote my attention to.
One is that my father is dying, which requires a lot of emotional processing. And going to see him involves a lot of driving.
Another is that the play in Toronto is going to require a lot of my focus for most of the summer. Meaning, the final re-writes. Rehearsals begin in September and it opens in late October.
I also want to get back to work with Peitor on our numerous film projects for Abstract Absurdity Productions — although his mom is dying now, too. And they now live in the South of France, so the time difference between us gets complicated with my work schedule.
Also, for several months now, I’ve been a member of James Tabor’s private Patreon group, where we support his upcoming research projects and archeological work pertaining to ancient Christianity and the original Jesus Movement in Israel and Jordan.
The zoom meetings require a lot of reading beforehand — scholarly papers about the research that has already been done by him and others. And also re-reading his book The Jesus Discovery, which I read when it first came out but it was so long ago, I don’t remember enough of it.
On any given day or night, I am also taking various courses online that all pertain to this topic of ancient Christianity, Jesus of Nazareth, Judaism and the origins of the Holy Bible, ancient Hebrew — courses that are taught by various teachers other than James Tabor, but it all forms the foundation of trying to better understand that era of our civilization.
I want to be able to really concentrate on all of it now — and hopefully go with James Tabor’s group to Jordan late next year.
Long-time readers of this blog know that I am also working on a play about Caiaphas (“In the Days of the Flesh: The Gospel According to Caiaphas”), and using a fictional account of Caiaphas’ reincarnated lives to tell a different story about Jesus of Nazareth. Historical, rather than theological — but still fictional. I am also thinking I want to make it a short novel now, in addition to the play.
Anyway, all of it is connected.
And all of it is connected to my ministry — strange as my ministry is. (I went to Divinity School, and graduated Summa cum laude, got ordained, left organized Christianity to try to follow the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth instead, which is extremely difficult to do since Rome, especially, went to a great deal of trouble to ensure it is nearly impossible to find out who Jesus of Nazareth really was and what he taught — and I guess my entire ministry will ultimately lead people to Jesus through the life Caiaphas! We shall see.)
So, I guess in honor of all those many soldiers who died in much bloodier wars, trying to defend the US Constitution — as of today, Memorial Day, I am going to disengage now from posting about the war.

This is coming to end, gang. Finally. And the ending is going to seriously be worth all this horrible shit we’ve gone through for the last couple of decades. I, for one, cannot believe it. I wish some of my friends and colleagues who were either murdered, committed suicide, or just plain passed away from old age, were going to be around to see what is coming. But maybe they can see it all from where they are now.
Which brings me to the next– really sad — topic. It is so conflicting for me, to feel so joyful about all these things I have fought for, raged over, since time immemorial (or at the very least since Bush went into Iraq), barreling to a staggering conclusion. And then to feel so sad about what happened yesterday.
Nick Cave’s son, Jethro, passed away. There are no details about why or how. Just that he is indeed gone now. Age 31, I think. Just unbelievable. (Two of his sons gone now, in the space of about 7 years.)
I knew something bad was going to happen yesterday. I had such a strange morning. So much anxiety and yet I couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from. I took my CBD. The ashwaganda, the saffron. Nothing helped. I drove to work listening to Nick Cave (“Balcony Man”), wondering if some sort of bomb was going to go off in some country somewhere, creating even more awful carnage and chaos… but then, when I was at the park on my lunch hour — a really gorgeous day — I saw the news about Nick’s son. Wow. Just heartbreaking.

This only adds to my feelings that things here in the US, at least, are coming to their grand finale. It is all boiling down to that rigged election going public, at last. (I do not know what’s really going on with Xi and Taiwan and whatever is left of the CCP, obviously, but it could be that all of that is playing out right under our noses anyway. I just don’t know.)
I’m thinking this means we should split our time now between the Q stuff and getting our lives back. Maybe even for the first time, ever. Yay.
