I did that whole pre-sale thing on Monday, got my code to purchase pre-sale tickets, was on the site for half an hour, up until the final moment (10AM) when purchasing could begin. I got right into the site, selected a ticket and then —whammo — I got a notification that the event was SOLD OUT. In a nano second.
I was heartbroken. I couldn’t figure out how so many people could have purchased all those tickets so quickly.
Anyway. This morning, I thought I would get back onto the theater’s website and see if maybe there was even one ticket left, and suddenly, there were actually a lot of tickets left. But I managed to get the one remaining ticket in the orchestra section at the pre-sale price!! So, yay!!

Yesterday — regarding the plumber: great news. Even though both toilets seemed to breakdown at once and wouldn’t stop flushing, it turned out that it was an easy fix.
One of the toilets did need a small part replaced, but the reason they wouldn’t stop flushing? Calcium build-up around the handles because we have hard water out here in the country. A few sprays of WD-40 fixed both toilets in a nano-second! And it cost me almost nothing!! (Basically, since I own a can of WD-40, I only had to pay for the huge amount of gasoline it took for the plumber to drive all the way out here to middle of nowhere…)
