It’s Already a Terrific Tuesday!

Wow, did I have some great dreams last night, gang. And I woke up just feeling really happy today.

And today is Kara’s birthday, so I’m really looking forward to taking her out to lunch before my afternoon shift. I haven’t seen her since we saw the incredible Andrea Bocelli film.

And I have to say that yesterday’s visit with the insurance guy was actually quite fantastic. Not just because he’s making the whole Medicare Plan B thing a breeze for me, but, most importantly, we focused more on getting me truly affordable Long Term Care/ Assisted Living insurance.

This means that if something happens to me (like I fall and break something), I can now afford to have someone much like myself come in and take care of me every day!!!

Honestly, gang, when I am with my clients it is always in the back of my mind — what am I going to do if I ever need a home health aide? I can’t afford it!! And I know firsthand, what a difference it makes in someone’s life. Being able to stay at home and not have to go into one of those awful places where the poor elderly have to go to either recuperate or die.

My long term coverage starts February 1st (!!). And of course my Medicare starts July 1st. So on we go into the glorious sunset of old age… Actually, it really is a relief to me.

************

Okay. Honestly, gang. NO NEWS. Assuming of course that you ignore the false flags, the false-false flags, the psyops…

Naturally, il donaldo trumpo posted this AGAIN last night. I’m guessing it applies to just about everything going on out there right now–

GONNA NEED MORE POPCORN FOR THIS!!!😎🇺🇸🍿🍿🍿 (20 seconds):

And, at long last, it seems we are finally going to say goodbye to the (fake) Trudeau.

And our Daily Feature!!

What Would Keith Richards Do?

From Chapter Five: Daily Affirmations. The topic today is WRITING & SONGWRITING.

Keith says:

“I hate things that have only one meaning. I want words to pull triggers.”

Although “hate” is a strong word, I have to agree that, as a writer, I also hope that words are going to help make people think…

************

And lastly but not leastly!!

From over the weekend, when Nick Cave’s art exhibit opened at the Museum Voorlinden:

***********

And that is it for now!

Yes! It continues!! Christmas breakfast-listening-music madness at 5AM!!

“Jingle Bell Rock”. Bobby Helms, 1957. Enjoy, gang!!

Monday Rolls Around Again!

And , yes, it is my day off!

And, yes, some very friendly suit & tie guy is coming over this afternoon to discuss my MEDICARE PLAN B options (!!!) because I will be 65 in a mere 8 months and he didn’t want me to go for another moment without focusing on THAT.

Unbelievable.

But I have to say that I was okay about making the appointment because he actually showed up at my house, in person. He was actually out by my kitchen porch when I drove home from work last Wednesday.

And he drives the very same car that I do. A brand new 2025 Honda Civic sedan — same exact color, too. It was so weird. I was driving down the street toward my house — and then imagine my surprise when I saw that somehow my car was already parked in front of my house and that I was already home! WTF???

When I got out of my car and went over to him (he was young, attractive, very well dressed), he said, “Marilyn?”

He knew my first name, so that immediately set off alarms in my brain. Does he work for the IRS? (To whom I owe money). Does he work for Social Security? (To whom I owe money). Is he here from the County, wanting to ask me something about my new roof? (Thankfully, I owe them no money at all…)

Anyway. Refer to the part above that explains why he actually came, and even though I am morally opposed to all types of insurance…. I figured I’d find out what he has to say about Medicare Plan B because he was really nice and he knew my name…

[If you don’t live in the US, this will explain what this gobbledygook is about.] [And if English is your second language, this will explain what gobbledygook is about.]

Okay!!!

As usual, not much news. But this really jumped out at me yesterday. Especially knowing how much I detest A.I. and what it’s done to my writing career.

Allegedly, it’s a “suicide”… Hmmm. [Full article is here.]

**************

This will make you absolutely sick. But it’s still worth reading.

From Mike King’s Anti-NY Times:

Spy Paper Predicted Pandemic Genocide

[…] In a November 2008 report titled: Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) — the agency which oversees all intelligence agencies — and the National Intelligence Council didn’t just telegraph Stupid-19, but also “guessed” the time-window and foretold how many people were to have been genocided in America and worldwide.

Just to add a bit of critical context, the multi-topic report about a “transformed world” was published right about the time that Obongo was elected, marking the start of the Bildberger-certified “16-year plan” to finish off America once and for all with 8 years of Bath House Barry followed by 8 years of Killary Clinton. The math: 2009 + 16 = 2025. […]”

Not much to report — if you missed Phil’s livestream about the Christmas cash giveaway, he did briefly mention that on his next live he’ll explain the drones that are all over the place in the US. Check here to stay updated.

But I’m guessing the whole thing is a White Hat psyop to get the sleepers worked up over the fake Biden Administration not giving a hoot about Americans…

And I’m also guessing it’s nothing to worry about, when Trump, himself, posts this:

***********

I only got to see a few moments of the Army – Navy football game yesterday, because I was with a patient, but here are some interesting images from it:

If you don’t live in the US, you might not understand the significance of Daniel Penny. He was recently a victim of NY lawfare but he won.

From News Treason Channel 17 — this was astounding, actually:

“Of ALLL bases to show during the Army/Navy game, the broadcast showed…

ALSO:

Our Daily Feature continues!

What Would Keith Richards Do?

From Chapter Five: Daily Affirmations. The topic today is BEING ALIVE. Keith tells us:

“To me, life is a wild animal. You hope to deal with it when it leaps at you.”

I have to say that I heartily concur!!

************

And that is it for today.

I have one shift later today — a married couple that I adore and they are only a 15-minute drive from here!! Yay. When I get back home, the night is still reasonably young…

But for now, I am going right back to bed. I’m effing exhausted, gang. It’s not that my caregiving job is physically difficult; it is emotionally overwhelming, but in a positive way.

For instance — when I was with the sweet 99-year-old blind lady on Friday night, as I was leaving her bedroom to go home, she called out — “I love you!”

Wow, gang. That stopped me in my tracks. I said, “I love you, too.”

I was raised in a family that NEVER said “I love you.” Never. The only people in my family who have ever said they loved me was my grandma in Cleveland and one of my uncles. My grandma has been gone for 35 years. My uncle, thankfully, is still alive (92) and still tells me he loves me every time we talk on the phone. But even my dad, who recently died and took all the joy right out of my life along with him — he never told me he loved me. Although I know that he did.

Anyway. I don’t want to a sound as if I will take it anywhere I can get it. However, if someone takes the time to tell me, “I love you,” it means the world to me.

And then multiply that moment times every shift I’ve worked since Friday night, and it leaves me exhausted. In a very good, if somewhat confounding, way.

***********

Okay. Enjoy your Sunday, wherever you are in the world!

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

***********

This morning’s Christmas-listening music!! Still on a Dean Martin binge!! Such a great Christmas album, gang. Enjoy!

Easy, Happy Friday in the Hinterlands

I sort of have the “day” off. Meaning, I don’t have to work until this evening, so I’m planning on just taking it slow here today and making it last until I have to leave.

Tomorrow I’m working a long double shift, so I probably won’t post to the blog again until Sunday.

There is seriously not much to report — beyond the various psyops that are all over the place.

I think with both Christmas on the horizon, and the Inauguration getting closer, people just aren’t really posting much news. It’s mostly opinions, and tons of Q stuff. (Except in the UK.)

*********

Tonight, however, Phil is going live at 7PM Eastern time. It is supposed to last 3 or 4 hours, because he is announcing all the 100 recipients of the Christmas cash giveaway. There will be some brief intel at the very beginning, though. Check here later.

********

But here’s this!

From the Red Sea Film Festival, going on right now in Jeddah:

Johnny Depp’s film, “Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness” played at the festival yesterday.

There are tons and tons and TONS of photos and videos from the event. However, sadly, I must conscientiously report that there is not one single solitary photo of Johnny smoking, so this could be an imposter… just sayin’.

***********

Okay!

As a prelude to our Daily Feature:

And now, our Daily Feature.

What Would Keith Richards Do?

Our random selection was once again back in Chapter Five: Daily Affirmations. (I was kinda digging that Chronology of Trouble chapter we landed in the other day, so hopefully we’ll land there again soon!) The topic today is INSULTS. (We’ve been in this topic before!)

Keith’s response to the Beatles smash hit, “All You Need is Love”:

“Yeah — try livin’ off of it.”

I feel this is kind of a shrewd observation, coming as it did, during the Flower Power movement and the Summer of Love stuff, etc. Always iconoclastic! Go, Keith!

**************

If you’re having trouble trying to figure out what to buy me for Christmas this year — look no further than Cave Things!!

This lovely necklace would make me exceedingly happy, so if you feel like spending $117 on me, plus trillions of dollars in overseas shipping, I will be pleased as punch!!

Material: 18ct gold plated brass

I also leave you with this!!

Christmas -breakfast-listening music!!!! (The cats seem to love Dean Martin’s Christmas album just as much as I do!) Enjoy, gang!

Back On Track!

All righty, it looks like it was stress that knocked me under yesterday, because I seem to be reasonably fine today. (I say “reasonably” because I can’t remember the last time I felt 100%, totally, and completely fine. It was probably back in 2019 when I had stuff like friends, colleagues, family, a career, and a mere six cats…….)

Anyway.

Nothing from SCOTUS yet, although I saw a post in Phil’s private chat yesterday that indicated the Supreme Court would also be releasing opinions today. So we shall see.

Not much news at all today.

Mostly, I’m just trying to let go of any and all expectations about everything, gang, and just try to be in a Christmas-y frame of mind.

Nick Cave sent out an incredible Red Hand File this morning, gang! Just beautiful!! You should go read it in full, but in part he said:

I understand it must be painful to feel those “amazing times” are behind you, but they are not, there are many more to come. There will be further heartbreaks too, but hearts break stronger. We must not retreat from our feelings. We must confront them. Rehearse them. Get better at them… My advice? Get back out there. Live life to the fullest – and stay for the whole damn show. It’s amazing.”

You can read the entire letter here.

*************

And our Daily Feature!

What Would Keith Richards Do?

Well, today’s random selection is very different! It comes from the final chapter in the book, titled A Chronology of Trouble. And it basically documents highlights (and lowlights) of Keith’s life from 1951 – 2008.

Our selection today states that in 1966, Keith separates from (long-time girlfriend) Linda Keith. Wherein Keith:

“Reportedly leaves phone messages for years that say, ‘Tell Linda to fuck off.’ ‘Ruby Tuesday’ is generally believed to be his swan song to Linda.”

Well, at least he got an incredibly great song out of that breakup!! So keep that in mind if you, too, have been leaving “fuck-off” messages to someone for years!!

*************

And that is it, gang.

Enjoy your Wednesday, wherever you are in the world!

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

*************

Of course, I leave you with this! And just FYI, if someone ever wrote a song like this about me, I’d happily put up with the “fuck-off” phone messages for years…

The Rolling Stones, “Ruby Tuesday.” 1966.

“Ruby Tuesday”

She would never say where she came from
Yesterday don’t matter if it’s gone
While the sun is bright
Or in the darkest night
No one knows
She comes and goes

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I’m gonna miss you

Don’t question why she needs to be so free
She’ll tell you it’s the only way to be
She just can’t be chained
To a life where nothing’s gained
And nothing’s lost
At such a cost

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I’m gonna miss you

“There’s no time to lose,” I heard her say
“Catch your dreams before they slip away
Dying all the time
Lose your dreams
And you will lose your mind
Ain’t life unkind?”

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I’m gonna miss you

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I’m gonna miss you

c- 1966 Jagger/Richards

Yes, That’s Correct!

I am actually under the weather today.

I’m not sure if it’s just stress or not, but I actually called in sick today. A thing I never do. So this will be a brief post.

**********

The US Supreme Court is set to make it’s final ruling for 2024 today. And we are all hoping that they will finally go public with their decision on the Brunson case.

That would be a fantastic Christmas gift for this country, wouldn’t it, gang? Expose the entire 2020 fraud. Finally.

But we’ll see. They haven’t done it so far, so we probably shouldn’t hold our breath…

*************

This was interesting.

From News Treason Channel 17:

“But it’s a conssssssspiracy theory, right?

Spearheaded by Senator Ileana Garcia, the legislation comes amid claims that hurricanes Helene and Milton, which caused massive destruction in Florida, were deliberately manipulated

Interesting Timing

Regarding the situation with the Government in France collapsing yesterday, it’s curious that Trump will be attending the reopening ceremony of the Cathedral of Notre Dame this weekend, isn’t it? And that it’s his first trip overseas since winning the election…

A final and just peace between the Palestinian people and Israel has ALWAYS been Trump’s true objective. Now that his position of political power is unassailable, that fact becomes even more obvious. This is especially so with regard to his recent selection of a Lebanese-American Christian named Massad Boulos as Senior Advisor on Arab and Middle Eastern Affairs. Not only is Mr. Boulos highly respected and trusted by the Arab states, he is also the father-in-law of Tiffany Trump, Trump’s youngest daughter. […]”

Early morning listening music! Bob Dylan, “Key West.” 2020. I’ve posted it here before, but here it is again! Enjoy, gang.

McKinley hollered - McKinley squalled

Doctor said McKinley - death is on the wall

Say it to me if you got something to confess

I heard all about it - he was going down slow

Heard it on the wireless radio

From down in the boondocks - way down in Key West

I’m searchin’ for love and inspiration

On that pirate radio station

It’s comin’ out of Luxembourg and Budapest

Radio signal clear as can be

I’m so deep in love I can hardly see

Down in the flatlands - way down in Key West

Key West is the place to be

If you’re lookin’ for immortality

Stay on the road – follow the highway sign

Key West is fine and fair

If you lost your mind, you’ll find it there

Key West is on the horizon line

I was born on the wrong side of the railroad track

Like Ginsberg, Corso and Kerouac

Like Louie and Jimmy and Buddy and all of the rest

It might not be the thing to do

But I’m stickin’ with you through and through

Down in the flatlands - way down in Key West

I got both my feet planted square on the ground

Got my right hand high with the thumb down

Such is life - such is happiness

Hibiscus flowers grow everywhere here

If you wear one put it behind your ear

Down on the bottom - way down in Key West

Key West is the place to go

Down by the Gulf of Mexico

Beyond the sea - beyond the shifting sand

Key West is the gateway key

To innocence and purity

Key West - Key West is the enchanted land

I’ve never lived in the land of Oz

Or wasted my time with an unworthy cause

It’s hot down here and you can’t be overdressed

The tiny blossoms of a toxic plant

They can make you dizzy - I’d like to help ya but I can’t

Down in the flatlands - way down in Key West

The fishtail ponds and the orchid trees

They can give you the bleedin’ heart disease

People tell me - I oughta try a little tenderness

Amelia Street - Bay View Park

Walkin’ in the shadows after dark

Down under - way down in Key West

I play the gumbo limbo spirituals

I know all the Hindu rituals

People tell me that I’m truly blessed

Bougainvillea bloomin’ in the summer and spring

Winter here is an unknown thing

Down the flatlands - way down in Key West

Key West is under the sun

Under the radar - under the gun

You stay to the left and then you lean to the right

Feel the sunlight on your skin

And the healing virtues of the wind

Key West - Key West is the land of light

Wherever I travel - wherever I roam

I’m not that far from the convent home

I do what I think is right - what I think is best

Mystery Street off Mallory Square

Truman had his White House there

Eastbound - westbound

Way down in Key West

Twelve years old and they put me in a suit

Forced me to marry a prostitute

There were gold fringes on her wedding dress

That’s my story but not where it ends

She’s still cute and we’re still friends

Down in the bottom - way down in Key West

I play both sides against the middle

Pickin’ up that pirate radio signal

I heard the news - I heard your last request

Fly around my Pretty Little Miss

I don’t love nobody - gimme a kiss

Down at the bottom - way down in Key West

Key West is the place to be

If you’re lookin’ for immortality

Key West is paradise divine

Key West is fine and fair

If you lost your mind you’ll find it there

Key West is on the horizon line

A Frosty Wednesday in the Hinterlands

We haven’t had much snow to speak of, yet, but we now have the freezing temperatures of December upon us.

I haven’t mentioned on the blog that yet another cat (another black one) has set up housekeeping on my kitchen porch. She arrived out of nowhere, about 6 weeks ago, and has never left. So, the other day, I bought her an all-weather house, assembled it and set it out for her and so far, she seems extremely happy with the new digs and has not frozen to death.

KonTiki and the other black cat only show up at mealtimes now. They prefer hanging out in the barn during the cold weather. But, overall, it is just getting ridiculous, the amount of cats.

And the actual owners of the fosters that I’ve been fostering for about 8 months already — I’m guessing they are never coming back. The last I heard from them was in late September and the situations going on in their lives were absolutely not good. So on we go.

Anyway.

Really. there is no news. Nothing but psy-ops out there, gang. A lot of them are really GREAT psy-ops. (For instance, I love this new term: “Elon Anon”!! About Elon and all his Q references.) But still. Nothing to report that you can’t find everywhere else.

Phil is supposed to be streaming live tonight at 7PM Eastern time. We shall see! Check here later to confirm. It would be great to get some actual news, so we’ll see.

And in my own life–

Valerie completed her painting on Monday night! This is a great thing, gang. She really, really needs to be painting right now. I am so happy for her.

And as far as my memoir research goes– yesterday, I posted about re-discovering the songs I’d written in the 1970s. Especially songs I’d written in 1974-1975. This is when I was 14 and 15 years old and I cannot get over the quality of the lyrics.

I was lucky enough to have English teachers in Jr. High School who really supported my writing. I wasn’t just writing in a vacuum. However, at home, it was just me alone in my room with my guitar, writing TONS of songs, all the time. The world in my room was always a whole other planet and, for the most part, a safe haven from my seriously abusive adoptive mother.

Well, yesterday, I mentioned a song I re-discovered, that I’d written a couple weeks before I attempted suicide, at age 14. And I was blown away by it. Because it was all there, you know?

I didn’t understand back then the concept of “suicide” or trying to kill oneself. I was not “suicidal” but, by reading over the lyrics, I so obviously needed an escape route. So much awful shit was happening in my life back then. It was relentless. (Except that, one week before I’d written the song, I’d seen the Rolling Stones in concert for the first time, up in Cleveland.)

I typed up the lyrics yesterday so that I could send them to a friend overseas, and I reprint them here for you now.

“Daughter of What Ought to Be”
(June 21, 1975 – Marilyn Joy Barck)

She walks past the window
The world is stopped in time
Dreams of a name brightly
Written ‘cross the sky.

She waits for a minute
Then opens up her eyes
She sees that she’s late now
So out the door she flies.

Her keys in her pocket
She’s walking down the stairs
Outside the feeling of
Summer in the air.

I know, for a second,
She sadly looks around
But sees that it’s useless
And moves on without a sound.

CHORUS:
The daughter of what ought to be
Not what she’d like to be
And she will never be set free
Because she’s a slave to what they
Said she ought to be,
Though she’s not what she wants to be
And she will never be set free.

There’s a war in her soul
A fire in her heart
An idea in her mind
A restless urge to fly.

A smile paints her face
A glow enters her eyes
There’s a bomb in her hand
But, no, how could she
Let down all her friends?

(REPEAT CHORUS)
The daughter of what ought to be
Not what she’d like to be
And she will never be set free
Because she’s a slave to what they
Said she ought to be,
Though she’s not what she wants to be
And she will never be set free.

I will probably type up more of the songs and include them in some way in the memoir. We’ll see. For now, 99% of them are handwritten on notebook paper, which is also an interesting feeling for me.

All right, that’s it for now. I gotta see my favorite 94-year-old Japanese man today! So I gotta scoot.

Enjoy your Wednesday, wherever you are in the world, gang.

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

Looking back on it, and without getting maudlin about it, this song really sort of nails it for me — who I was and how I felt back in 1974/75.

Peter & Gordon, “A World Without Love” 1964.

“A World Without Love”

Please lock me away
And don’t allow the day
Here inside, where I hide with my loneliness
I don’t care what they say
I won’t stay in a world without love

Birds sing out of tune
And rain clouds hide the moon
I’m okay, here I’ll stay with my loneliness
I don’t care what they say
I won’t stay in a world without love

So I wait and in a while
I will see my true love smile
She may come, I know not when
When she does, I’ll lose
So baby until then

Lock me away
And don’t allow the day
Here inside, where I hide with my loneliness
I don’t care what they say
I won’t stay in a world without love

So I wait and in a while
I will see my true love smile
She may come, I know not when
When she does, I’ll know
So baby until then

Lock me away
And don’t allow the day
Here inside, where I hide with my loneliness
I don’t care what they say
I won’t stay in a world without love

I don’t care what they say
I won’t stay in a world without love

c – 1964 – Lennon & McCartney

A Frosty Tuesday in the Hinterlands

If you follow the alternative news channels, then you know that, beyond the “precipice of WWIII,” there is really just nothing to report. Although there is no lack of Q stuff right now.

In fact, here’s an interesting one. It appeared on a few channels this morning, but this is from News Treason Channel 17 (a re-post from X) :

**************

Phil did not do his livestream last night. He has switched it to Wednesday at 7PM Eastern time. Check here to confirm, though.

I meant to post this yesterday from Absolute 1776, but I forgot. I donated to this young woman’s cause, so I am following it.

Elle Palmer is de-transitioning back to being a woman. Here is part of her current story, as posted to Absolute 1776:

“…Conservatives have not “weaponized” my story.

They just want other people to hear it, and they just want me to say what happened to me. They have put me on their show and simply said “tell us what happened.” There was no twisting of words, no lies, no propaganda. They simply wanted me to tell them the honest truth: why did I transition and detransition?

Now, I’m 25, and have realized the only reason my parents would feel threatened by conservatives is because the overwhelming majority of them will rightfully criticize my parents for letting me transition at 16 years old…

Next week I’m going to Washington, DC to rally and speak at the Supreme Court for the Skrmetti case that will set the precedent on whether or not minors will be allowed to transition for the entire country. […]”

**************

It is, of course, a topic I am very interested in, since I think it should be criminalized to let minors surgically transition. It is a HUGE choice to have to make and often times, even adults aren’t completely ready to make that decision. And having been friends with many people who had the surgery (as adults) and fully transitioned, I can tell you that most of them became very unhappy with that decision. In particular, the switching of hormones made them bonkers.

Which is one of the things that is so incredible about Sandra, though — and one of the reasons why “The Guide to being Fabulous” (our play) is so incredible. Sandra’s life has been incredible — but that doesn’t mean it has been easy at all. She surgically transitioned over 40 years ago. She’s in her 70s now and still dealing with all of it.

I can’t even imagine letting a teenager make that kind of life-altering choice.

On that note, though, here is a photo of Sandra years before she surgically transitioned:

And please come see our play when it opens Off-Broadway!! I will keep you posted.

Today is “Giving Tuesday” here in the US. And if you want to assist writers in the LGBTQ community, consider donating to Lambda Literary. They have been around a long time and they help under-served writers find their audiences.

They certainly helped my career as a writer many times over the decades.

You can donate HERE.

(And it might surprise you to know that many older LGBTQ creatives, such as myself, are Conservatives, and voted for Trump.)

In my own world–

I did spend a good chunk of time yesterday getting all the Christmas stuff out of the storage closet. The kitchen and family room are decorated now, but I’m saving the tree for when I have another chunk of time. It takes a couple of hours to get that thing up and decorated.

In terms of my progress with the memoir, though, I went through something a bit traumatizing yesterday: I took out all the songs I wrote back in the 1970s. Or the ones that still exist. I wrote MANY that are no longer in my storage files.

But the songs I wrote in 1974 and 1975 specifically do still exist. Lyrics, only. In some cases, the chords are noted, but I no longer recall the melodies for most of them. Strangely (luckily), I always dated everything. So I know exactly when each song was written.

And quite a few of the songs were written while I was in the mental hospital.

And one song was written just a couple of weeks before I attempted suicide the first time — and those lyrics were decidedly eye-opening. I clearly knew, on some level, what was coming and I was sort of “liberated’ about it, or by the thought of it.

One thing I can say from reading over all those lyrics — I had an impressive vocabulary! Plus, my god, I wrote about topics that, well, honestly you’d easily think an adult had written those songs.

One heartbreaking but beautiful thing: On one of the songs that I’d written while in the mental hospital , that girl Kathy — the girl I posted about here on the blog a couple weeks ago. My first true girlfriend, in every sense of the word. She wrote at the top of the paper: “Hello, Maralyn! Kathy” (misspelled)

Wow. Nearly 50 years ago. It looks like maybe she was passing by while I was writing the song and she left me that little note. Well, now that note means the world to me.

Anyway.

That’s it for now.

Have a terrific Tuesday, wherever you are in the world.

Thanks for visiting.

I love you guys. See ya!

I leave you with this song again, because, honestly, what else can I do? Enjoy, gang.

Unheard of! A Whole Day Off!

So far, it’s looking like my schedule is going to be somewhat manageable for the month of December — even though I have to work on ALL of the holidays!! Aaarrrgggh.

However, you know, just because it’s Christmas or New Year’s Eve, doesn’t mean that the housebound elderly are suddenly completely okay….

Before I forget! I need to post about this.

That really sweet 99-year-old blind lady that I am a caregiver for — I was with her yesterday, and we were talking about her life, as we always do. (Her mind is completely sharp, the only problem she has is that she is legally blind.)

And this astounded me:

The lady’s one and only grandchild was born when the lady was 71 years old, and by then she had been a widow for 21 years. And since her grandchild lived far away, the lady decided that the best way to get to know her grandchild would be to take family trips together as the child was growing up.

So — in the course of the next 25 years, after which the lady began to go blind, but she was already 96 years old(!!) — she had visited 52 countries with her grandchild.

Isn’t this just incredibly inspiring, gang?? Wow. To start traveling overseas when you’re 71, and then visit 52 countries by the time you’re 96. Wow.

And here over in my world, it’s a huge deal to be able to get back to NYC, which is only 500 miles from here, and only takes 1 hr and 20 minutes to fly there, and only about 9 hours by car…

Anyway!! It’s nice to think that when I’m 71 (a mere 7 years from now), worldwide travel might suddenly become incredibly doable. We shall see!

I loved this. Dan Scavino posted it yesterday:

I’m telling you, gang, Q stuff is everywhere now. They are being so blatant about it!

*************

On a similar note.

From Mike King’s Anti-NY Times newsletter:

Q Operatives Sweep CIA, FBI, DOJ and DNI

…The unabashed “conspiracy theorist” and very Q-ish Trump loyalist Kash Patel will complete a Q Trifecta of White Hat leaders set to head each of the key agencies which once formed the core of the formerly fearsome three-headed Deep State dragon.

As Patel takes the reigns at the FBI; “far right” Q-approved John Ratcliffe will lead the CIA; and military gal / “Russian agent” / “isolationist” Tulsi Gabbard — who had so capably infiltrated and subverted the WEF and the Demonrat Party –will be the Director of National Intelligence overseeing all of America’s intelligence agencies.

The “Editorial Board” here at The Anti-New York Times sniffed the “Democrat” Gabbard out as Q operative years ago. In the cases of Ratcliffe and Patel, the legendary scent-detection abilities of the late great St. Sugar the Crazed Conspiracy Cat were not needed because Q himself (or themselves) dropped their names long before they rose to soon-to-be heads of the CIA & FBI respectively. Regarding the fake Bidens and the “pardon” — since both of them have been dead for awhile now, I’m guessing it’s just another psy-op to wake people up.

But on that note, I thought this was interesting–

From News Treason Channel 17:

************

And from ULTRA Pepe Lives Matter:

“Hunter and Joe Biden are complicit in horrific crimes in Ukraine. Ukraine is subservient to the CIA and a prime location for money laundering for swamp creatures. This is the truth.
Ukraine was overthrown by the CIA and a puppet administration was implemented that would work to further their criminal intentions. Joe Biden, Pelosi, Romney, and McCain all got their hands in the Ukraine cookie jar. We the People are awake to the scam.

And in other news!

Nick Cave sent out a Red Hand File this morning, where he gives some beautiful advice to someone whose father is dying. He says, in part:

I can’t think of a more poignant and binding act than to be able to laugh together in this most tragic of circumstances. The thing that you don’t need in this dynamic is guilt. Dispense with it. You have nothing to feel guilty for….”

And our Daily Feature continues!

What Would Keith Richards Do?

This was interesting, in light of a post I made about Keith and the topic of family recently.

This time, the topic is MUSIC & CREATIVITY, and of course it comes from Chapter Five: Daily Affirmations.

Keith says:

“I love my kids most of the time, and I love my wife most of the time. Music I love all of the time. It’s the only constant thing in my life. It’s the one thing you can count on.”

So, I guess let’s just keep this in mind, shall we? If we’re tempted to get married or have some children — put on a Rolling Stones record instead!! I know I do…

***********

Okay!! That’s it for now. I am possibly going to attempt to put up the Christmas tree today. We shall see how that goes.

Meanwhile–

Enjoy your Monday wherever you are in the world!!
